We are a couple in our 60s. My husband is a retired airline pilot and I am a computer geek, entrepreneur and cellist. We love travel, our 8 grandchildren, volunteer work and our community here in paradise.
In a ski town a big snowfall can be wonderful for the skiers but horrible for the shovelers. Our sincere apologies about the snow on the walk-way. We generally shovel before guests arrive, but the local team inadvertently slipped up this time. We promise to do better in the future.
We’re also sorry that the bedroom layout is not what you had expected. We realize that it’s a bit atypical which is why I advise every guest before they make their booking to “Be sure to look at the floor plan on our listing to confirm that the bedroom layout works for your group.” We also have this statement included in the description of the house. “Take special notice of the floor plan of the home in the photo section. The bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and the narrow stairway is steep. Guests walk through one bedroom to get to the next and a door separates just the front master bedroom. It's important that you like the people you're vacationing with, and remind yourselves, this is how the miners lived!” Again, my apologies for the confusion. Thank you for leaving the house so clean. We hope you’ll visit again.
