John Alden Thayer & Eddie are wonderful hosts. Their Blue Horizon Bed and Breakfast is a hidden gem. You must get up early if staying in the Yellow Room to enjoy the incedible sunrise which can be seen from your bed. It was simply stunning, as is the view from their dining room and outdoor deck. My girlfriend Natalia and I stayed for just one night in March and it snowed. We got in their outdoor hot-tub and soaked there while snowflakes came down all around and over us. It was picturesque. The woodstove in the bar area downstairs kept us warm and also smelled fabulous. In the morning we literally awoke to the smell of bacon, as they had prepared a delicious breakfast for us, with some darn good coffee too. I had a great time, and will definitely be telling my friends about this hidden gem.
