Marina's apartment is very nice. However, it's around 35 minutes by walk to the old city, not 15min as indicated in the announce.
The view on the port of dubrovnik is very nice! We have to walk 30 mn to the old town. Marina is very sympathic and the appartement is like the photos so nice place to stay!
Marina's apartment was lovely! Larger than I expected and the view was absolutely GORGEOUS. Spent a couple of evenings watching the sunset from the balcony.
This apartment was just as it was described. Marina was lovely and welcoming. The location was wonderful, too. As others have said, it's a short bus ride to the Old Town, but I actually preferred to walk--it's about 30 minutes each way, and you pass some lovely overlooks of the water. And you're away from the crowded tourist areas! There's also a huge supermarket nearby.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I'd definitely stay here again!
Muy lindo apto, coincide con la descripción y fotos Espectacular la vista desde el balcón y muy bien ubicado
We arrived at midnight after long and delayed flights; called Marina from Zagreb about being late, we took a cab . She met us at the apartment with a pleasant welcome. The apartment was wonderful and shown as in the pictures. The bottle of local wine was a nice treat. Easy access to the bus lines at the bottom of the stairs 5 min. The unit was clean with everything that we needed for our stay. Would come back and stay again.
Marina made us feel very welcome. There was a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us. The apartment is close to the port if you arrive in Dubrovnik by sea. Easy walk up the hill or stairs to buses and shops. Great central location for a lot of sightseeing. The terrace has fantastic views, we loved sitting there in the afternoon and watching the sun set. Thanks Marina.
We really enjoyed our stay at Marinas apartment. For us, the location was the best part as it was only a 2-3 minute walk to the ferry port. We were travelling to a couple different islands so it was super convenient being so close!
The bus stop is also at the port where you can catch 3 different buses to the old town. It was about a 5-10 minute bus ride or 30-35 minute walk to the old town. There was a wash machine which was awesome, Marina gave us some laundry soap so we could wash some of our clothes. It was also nice having a fridge and kitchen as well!
Marina was very flexible and accommodating! She arranged a great airport pickup for us and was waiting for our arrival. It made our first experience in Croatia very easy and enjoyable!
We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Dubrovnik! Thanks Marina!
This was a really lovely apartment! Looks as described. View from balcony is incredible. Short walk to sea, multiple bus stops to old town - 5 minute bus ride.
Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and having the washer was really handy. Shower pressure is great!
Hosts were really kind and helpful, wine was included!
Only thing I would mention is that if you're new to driving in Croatia, you should either have a very clear map or a GPS as it's really difficult to find addresses as there are few street names. We got lost but the host came to find us and we followed their car.
Marina was very welcomimg and helpful. Her apartment was very nice with spectacular views over the harbour port. The apartment had everything in it that we needed plus a bottle of chilled wine waiting for us which was very nice. Marina gave us some useful information about Dubrovnik. The apartment has good access to local buses to the old Town of Dubrovnik which is only 10-15 minutes by bus. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.
Tip: If you plan on visiting the old Town it is worth getting a Dubrovnik daily or 3 day pass as it gets you into the city wall walk and several of the museums plus it includes a bus pass to use on the local buses for free.
First let us say Thank You to Marina and the citizens of Dubrovnik for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful city with which you take great pride! Prior to arrival Marina was very good in responding to emails and gave us wonderful directions on how to find her house. Once there she explained everything about the apartment and gave us tips on how to ride the buses. The apartment was clean and fully stocked. The view from the patio was fantastic! Dubrovnik was fantastic! We will return to Marina's apartment again for another stay to enjoy it longer. Jim and Margaret
