Karim's apartment is well located in the Hamra area, a short walk or taxi drive to all the nice places in Beirut. The apartment is large and the kitchen well equipped, and Karim is a friendly host. On our arrival we found dirty dishes in the sink and the place seemed a bit dusty. There was only linen on one bed and one towel supplied (three people were staying in the place), but Karim supplied extra when we called. During our stay there were electrical problems in Beirut so we were without power for many more hours than usual (should be no more than 3 hours per day), and this building didn't have a back-up generator, so please keep this in mind if you will stay in the apartment most of the time and regular power is important to you.
Thank you for a wonderful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Karim's apartment. Karim was a very polite and helpful host. The apartment was neat and clean and very cozy.
The flat location is absolutely perfect. Distance walking from the Marina and it s very spacious. Karim helped in every ways hé could to make our stay easier. He is a great host.
Karim was very helpful both before the stay and during the stay. He was very kind and easy to communicate with! The apt was fine, nothing fancy but comfortable enough for 4 people. It's situated in a really nice area, walking distance to the corniche, Hamra, downtown and the martyr square. I totally recommend it!
The reservation was canceled 6 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
First of all, the location of the apartment is great. Set off a side street of Rue Clemenceau it is quiet and calm. You are a short walk to bustling Hamra street in one direction and 5 minutes from Downtown Beirut. The apartment is very large and spacious with two balconies. There is a 3 hour power cut in the mornings that affects the whole city but that was never an issue but worth noting for prospective visitors for the city as a whole.
I never got to meet Karim. I arrived late after an ordeal of flight cancellations to a city in the wake of the worst storm in 30 years, covered in darkness due to power failures. Karim was extremely apologetic for something which was completely out of his hands which I found very kind. He was always on hand and like a good host always made sure everything was OK. I couldnt ask for a better host. Excluding circumstances out of our own hands the visit was faultless and Karim and his apartment were highly recommended.
Karim is a very friendly guy, who was even so nice to drop us back to the airport. The appartment is in a perfect location and very spacious and clean. I would stay there again anytime!
Karim's place was wonderful for us. We had plenty of room and the location was convenient, close to Hamra and the University area, plus in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. We enjoyed our stay and he was prompt with setting us up and catering to our needs. Wifi was excellent in his place. He was easy to communicate with and this is a great deal for the place and location! (*Note: all of Beirut gets electricity shortages, 3hrs out of every 24, so just be aware of it. Has nothing to do with our host.)
Karim's apartment is very well located near the nice places and streets of Hamra and Gemmayze. Karim was very kind to help us with everything we needed (laundry, cool advices..) and we had a perfect stay in Beirut.
Be aware that there are some electric cuts, everyday for around three hours, witch is not due to the apartment but because of the city policy.
Karim is a wonderfull guy. He is a person with good spirit and good will.
I highly recommed visiting his accomodation since it lies in the center of Beirut.
He is a respectfull person.
