Merci Vince ;)
Vince and his family were great hosts, they were always friendly and willing to help me. I went out a couple times with Vince and many times with his brother Kent. The house was clean and safe. I recommend staying with them, you won't be disappointed. Everything you can read on the listing and in the previous reviews is true.
Vince and his brother and sister were great hosts. I really felt like a part of the family while I was there, which is why I ended up staying for two months. They all took time to show me around the city and introduce me to friends. Vince is plugged into pretty much everything happening in Manila, so I couldn't imagine a better resource for exploring the city. Their maid, Pista, cooked and I even paid her to do my laundry a few times. The house was great; I had my own AC unit and the internet was fast and reliable enough for me to work online everyday. Really, just a great place to stay, and located close to Quezon City and within walking distance to the train system and SM Santa Mesa. I am going to miss playing basketball with Vince and Kent. Can't recommend it enough.
Vince and his family are great. They welcomed me into their home not only with open arms, but also provided an experience I will never forget. The household has a maid that is more than happy to not only wash your dirty laundry, she will also fold them neatly and place them on your bed. I provided her with 500 pesos, which is about $10 USD.
Unfortunately, Vince's schedule prevented him to show me around Manilla. Instead, his brother Kent was more than happy to accommodate. Not only did he drive me around Manilla, but he also took me to his favorite eating spots and hang out spots. He introduced me to his friends and made sure that I was taken care of. Vince's sister Cheryl was kind enough to let me bother her on my last night in Manilla and was kind enough to print out my flight itinerary.
One thing that visitors should be aware of: The family has 1 dog (very small and friendly) and 3 cats. Just be aware if you have allergies.
Thank you for such a memorable experience! I would gladly recommend anyone to stay here with Vince, Kent and Cheryl, especially if it's their first time visiting the Philippines!
