We love to travel, garden, read, cook, and watch movies. We care deeply about the environment and the world that we live in and want to leave it a better place. Currently we split our time between NY and various cities related to our business.

This apartment was exactly what we expected. The booking with the hosts went smoothly and collecting the keys when we arrived quite late after a delayed flight was easy. The location is awesome, walking distance to central park, times square and a few different subway lines also only a short walk away. The only negative thing I can say is that the shower curtain really needs replacing as it's covered in mold.
It was a great place to stay, very close to Time Square and Central Park (5-10 minutes by foot) and close to the Subway.
The place was clean and tidy. iIt was a bit dark, but I guess that's how it is when you are on the ground floor and surrounded with high buildings.

The apartment was exactly as described and looked just like the pictures. The hosts were very helpful in answering all of our questions promptly.
If you're a tourist, it the perfect location to access the theatre district, subways, Central Park and some good shopping streets. However, as people who are former New Yorkers coming back for business, the food scene in the immediate neighborhood left a little to be desired (we have a baby and had to do take out as opposed to eating out). That's just our opinion, though!
The apartment was huge by New York standards (even had a hallway!!) so we had plenty of space. The a/c also worked great which was important in the city in Aug. our only complaint is that the whole apt needed a deep cleaning and definitely a new shower curtain. It's one thing to have a narrow shower and have to brush against the curtain, but not when the curtain is moldy.
Would absolutely recommend for a couple or group of friends who need access to tourist sites.
This was a wonderful apartment to stay in! The size was great, location perfect, and all around wonderful cozy feel. Hosts communicated easily with information en route to New York and when random questions came up. Thanks for making my stay in New York excellent!

This was a great place for our stay in New York. Very close to Central Park which we enjoyed. The place was like in the pictures and the check-in and check-out was made easy and flexible. Thanks Ivy's!
Great, clean family---would welcome them back anytime!
My daughter and I stayed in The Bailly's NY apartment for one night. I was so impressed with how safe and quiet the apartment was. I couldn't hear any traffic. We slept really soundly. Plus, the apartment is located across the street from the neighborhood police station and just blocks away from the theater district in one direction and Central Park in the other direction. The location couldn't have been better.
The apartment itself is perfect for a family. There is a large living room and also a bedroom with a queen size bed. Plus plants throughout the apartment which made it really homey. It is on the first floor, so there was no problem with carrying luggage. I highly recommend this apartment.
My husband and I stayed for 5 days at the Bailleys' home. The apartment looks exactly like the photos--it's clean, safe and spacious with high ceilings and beautiful crown molding. The black-out shades in the bedroom are perfect if you're a light sleeper, the sounds of the city are thankfully muffled, and the windows look out into a courtyard. It's the kick-ass apartment in NYC you always wish you had.
There's a full kitchen, a cute bathroom with deliciously hot water that doesn't run out, and a SUPEEEEEEER comfortable bed that makes getting up difficult. There's a dresser to store your clothes, a small desk to do work, and lots of seating in the kitchen and living room.
Everything you need is within a stone's throw--taxis, coffee shops, restaurants, subway, even a health food store on the corner. There's a big supermarket across the street that is open late.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe, yet bustling in the daytime. There's a police station across the street. Our stay was fun, relaxing, effortless and high in calories. We will absolutely stay again when we're in NYC. This is a great value if you want to see, do and eat as much as possible in NYC without spending a lot of $$$.
Marc and Nicolette are former colleagues of ours, but we've remained friends because they are the warmest, most generous people you'll ever meet.
Marc is a wonderful person to host on airbandb. He has an amazing place in NY that is in the heart of midtown and close to the park and subway and all sorts of great things. I am Marc's cousin and we have a great relationship. We always hang out and I've stayed at his place and he is very clean, super nice, and easy to communicate with. Staying with him is always a good time with a good person:)
