I enjoy my travels (business and personal), new experiences and meeting new people. Open-minded. Adventurous. When I'm not at my day job, I work on a small organic farm.
I enjoyed my stay at Matt's home. It was extremely quiet and comfortable. Upon arrival Matt had made a savory pie, salad, and lemonade ... what a sweetheart. : )
Thank you for allowing me to stay in your home.
Response from Matt:
This is the pie recipe. Everybody is asking for it: (website hidden)
Matt is a great host he was very attentive to our needs always asking of our concerns which we had none . It takes a special person to open ones home to strangers; we are stranger no more. God blessed you with the gift of hospitality.
We had a short stay but Matt was a fantastic host, especially friendly towards our Portuguese Water Dog! We arrived pretty late in the evening. Matt made sure we had everything we needed and then gave us privacy to unwind. In the morning, he made us a delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients from his farm. The place is very, very clean and stylishly decorated.
My friend and I had the most amazing time with Matt and his mother Mila! Their house is gorgeous and the room is beautiful. They cooked us an incredible dinner and breakfast with veggies from their garden and it was included in the price. Mila showed us the garden and let us hold four day old chicks. We recommend them so highly and would definitely stay there again! Much more worth the money than a cheap hotel in Gainesville.
I just loved staying at Matt's.The fresh food straight from the garden and a comfy bed were greatly appreciated by me. In the morning Matt's Mom took me on a tour of the gardens and then to see the chickens, geese and turkey's. All in all I had a great time during my short stay. I highly recommend that people stay there.
Matt's place was wonderful. His home is very clean and modern, but comfortable. The vegetable garden was in full glory with lots of different greens. Breakfast was delicious farm fresh eggs and crepes.
We would highly recommend staying at Matt's home.
We stayed at Matt's house for one night, a break between camp sites on our recent trip to Florida. Archer is within reach of Gainseville but far enough away to feel you are out of the city. The accomodations were comfortable and relaxing. Matt was gracious enough to prepare a meal for us on short notice. We had no difficulty finding his house but did have to go slow on the entrance road as we have a very low carriage car. Highly recommended if you like to avoid standard motels and value quiet surroundings.
The reservation was canceled 27 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Matt's home is a charming countryside retreat and we really enjoyed our stay! His verdant garden was an impressive sight and we cultivated lots of great conversation too. The room was very stylish and tidy and we were thrilled when Matt prepared us a delicious breakfast with garden fresh ingredients. He even sent us home with some fresh produce! I would definitely recommend staying here.
Matt made us feel welcome in his home, cooked some wonderful meals from his garden, and was helpful in guiding us to some area sights. If you want a quiet, laid back environment, Matt's place would be for you.
Very nice guests. Although Matt and his mother did not meet me personally, the house was very well tended to and they were very good guests. Please join us again soon!
Matt thank you for your comments, we do our best to serve you, we apologies for the internet service, because of the distance from downtown we can't get a better conection, thank you for stay with us.
I recommend them to host, they were nice and left the room clean.
Have a nice trip Matt!
Great, friendly hearty guests. Please come back and stay with us!
Matt was a wonderful guest. He was friendly, easy-going and tidy. We were both pretty busy most of the weekend but we had some really interesting and enjoyable conversations about a wide variety of topics. You're welcome back anytime!
