Hi, I'm from Rome, Italy. I am passionate about reading and practising sport and I love travelling and meeting new people. I've lived in Dublin, Ireland, for five years and a half.
Very nice place, and in a good location!
Lots of small stores around, and a short bus ride away from city centre.
My wife and I spent 5 nights at Sabrina's Apartment in Pigneto and we loved it! The area is quiet and the apartment is very clean, spacious and bright. There were good links to public transport and overall we have no complaints.
Sabrina was a great host. She gave us perfect directions to get to her place. We arrived later than expected because of a delay in the flight and she was very accommodating and helpful. We were given a tour of her flat and made to feel very welcome and at home. She even gave us a tour of the neighbourhood and pointed out some nice spots to check out. When we checked out she was very flexible with our check out time because we had a late flight.
We chose to stay in Pigneto because it is not touristy and it is off the beaten path. If this is your sort of thing then I highly recommend it. It has a hip bohemian vibe to it and the neighbourhood has a good selection of local bars restaurants and is much cheaper than the central touristy area of Rome. We enjoyed all the ancient bits of Rome but it was refreshing to leave the touristy area and come back to a more calm and real world where we could enjoy a glass of wine in the evening among locals.
Pigneto, has a gritty allure to it but all in all the neighbourhood was very friendly and the people were helpful. We don't speak Italian and yet, although not everyone speaks english in the area, overall we didn't have a problem communicating with people.
From the apartment there is an easy access to busses which take you to Termini Station and Colosseo. It took us on average between 30 and 40 mins to get to town (from door to door).
All in all, we had an amazing time in Rome and in Pigneto and we highly recommend Sabrina's Apartment.
We loved Sabrina's place! It's exactly as appears on the pics online. A very spacious, clean, charming and confortable apartment on a first floor. It also happens to be in one, for our taste, best neighborhoods in Rome.
Only steps away is the pedestrian area of Via del Pigneto with dozens of wine bars, craft beer bars, family pizzerias, and small restaurants. The are, as of now, is still by and for italians and immigrants. So it has a distinctive character that is far away from the touristy crowds of Travestere or other places closer to downtown.
Transportation is very simple, there are bus and tram stations literally feet away from the apt. There are grocery stores around the block and if you want to walk to the metro it is half a mile away.
Sabrina is wonderful, very fair, very quick to answer to our emails and very helpful.
We couldn't have asked more of our stay in Rome.
Sabrinas flat was great, just as described. She was very helpful and the area was great, easy to get around from, nice bars and restaurants and a great market. Recommend !
Our Rome Trip was great. And one of the main reasons was Sabrina's flat and Sabrina. She was very helpful! She was very flexible about the arrival and departure time. Her flat is nice located next to a nice area with beautiful restaurants. The flat is very clean and comfortable.
Sabrina was a wonderful host. She even helped us with the postal service in Rome! The apartment is very spacious and an easy ride to termini and the coliseum. Sabrina was very organized with suggestions, snacks, and anything else we could have asked for!
It was my second stay in rome and i really enjoyed it. Sabrina was very nice and helpfully and always available at the phone if we had any questions.
We arrived in the evening and she kindly provided a little thing for breakfast, which we really appreciated.
The apartment was clean, cozy and well located. Nice Bars and Restaurants are nearby and the center of rome can be reached by bus or metro in a few minutes. Everthing was simply and easily. Grazie mille Sabrina!!! :)
The location of apartment is the best one in Rome you can think of. The Pigneto area is full of restaurants, vine bars and cafes where the locals hang out 7 days a week. In the mornings, the area turns to the open air market where you can get the fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, meat and bread.
Pigneto is just 15min by bus to Termini and the bus stop is 1min walking distance from the apartment. The closest metro station is just 10min walking distance. You can go directly by bus to the all major attractions of Rome.
Sabrina's apartment is very lovely and cosy. It's very close to the Pigneto's main pedestrian area and very quiet. Sabrina is a great host who provided us with all info we needed. I would definitely stay at her apartment during my next visit to Rome.
We had the pleasure of meeting Sabrina the first day of our stay in the city of Rome and she gave us an orientation to the surroundings. This was our very first AirBnB experience and both agree that it couldn't have been better.
Her apartment was very nice just as advertised and proved to be conveniently located, She was very corteous and generous, This definitely beat staying at a hotel in the city. Rome was busy because of Easter week but all in all it was a wonderful experience, our wish of being in Rome for Easter celebrations finally came true.
