As a German Montrealer, delicious food and cultural mixes have always been a part of my life: I live for time spent with people from all over the world, sharing experiences and discovering new culinary delights. After over 4 years in Berlin, I still can't live without maple syrup and have trouble coming to terms with the fact that good bagels are a rare commodity, but a regular delivery of other Canadian delicacies keeps me tied over until my next visit. I dance well but not often enough, while I sing badly but too much. I'm also an avid reader and movie watcher, and enjoy contemporary art, photography and advertising from the early 19th century.
I've travelled quite a bit, but am always adding new destinations to my list. When go somewhere, I tend to start off with a plan and then change it. I'm an independent traveller and relaxed host, who tends to adapt to her visitors: I'll give tips about where to go, where to eat and what to do or make myself scarce and let them discover everything themselves if that's what they prefer. I've slept in cars and in nice hotels, but prefer the comfort of smaller BnBs where I can learn about the region and people who live there first hand.
Sidenote: it would be great if you sent me an inquiry before a booking request! thanks! :)
