I am an actress & garden designer. I'm warm and friendly and love living in London as it has so much to offer. I am well traveled and enjoy the arts.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Hazel is a lovely lady and very attentive. She is funny, kind and always willing to help. Its a lovely room and good size for the value. The forest is nearby and quiet of the area is perfect.
Hazel is such a sweet, interesting and welcoming person, I am incredibly happy to have chosen to stay at her place.
The house itself is a little far away from London center, but the train station is very close and the underground easily accessible by walk or bus. Moreover, Walthamstow is a district really worth discovering, with a lot of nice cafes, restaurants and pubs around, especially at the Village.
The room is lovely and so is the house, where you will feel "at home" right away.
It's been a really good experience, Hazel is an amazing person truly friendly, funny with a huge sense of humor. We spent hours speaking and laughing togheter and I felt myself like one of her family. The house is very cute and clean, has all the facilities included fast internet connection. The area is not one of the closest to central london but is quiet and is 5 min by bus to Victoria Lane.
The room was very spacious with a comfy bed, and having a desk/chair was a bonus. Was definitely a bargain price for London!
The place itself was very convenient to get to and from, a 10 minute walk to the station to catch the train straight into the city. Good kitchen facilities with own space to keep food. The WiFi was really fast as well!
And I couldn't have asked for a nicer host. Hazel was very helpful in providing information about the local area and London in general. She made sure you always felt at home and was always asking if there was anything she could do to help. It was a very enjoyable month's stay and I would definitely stay here again.
Hazel is among the kindest people I have met and the stay at her home was quite excellent. As a guest I was allowed to make use of all the facilities (Kitchen, washing machine etc) which were clean and well cared for. The room is comfortable and neat, though small especially if you have large pieces of luggage, but that shouldn't bother you since you'll have ample space to move around in the home (there are also larger rooms which can be booked)
Walthamstow is quite a charming area and quite easy to get in out of Central London. Hazel always has quick tips for getting around. Would have loved to stay here for longer and the place is on my wishlist.
My stay at Hazel's house was wonderful. She is extremely polite and patient and an excellent host. Her house is beautiful, clean and very welcoming. As a guest I was given full liberty to use a very well equipped kitchen and a lovely living cum dining room. My room had a very comfortable bed and with everything else you'd expect in a bedroom. I have no hesitation to recommend her place if you'd like a homely and comfortable stay in London.
Hazel is without a doubt the kindest of ladies. She really makes you feel at home and has become a true friend. There is so much that she did for me that she did not have to do but her overall goal is for her guests to be safe and happy while in London. The location was great and easy access to the bus station and the tube. Her spunky, charming personality is infectious and she is a great singer. I was blessed to chose her as my host. What luck!
Hazel is a very nice and vibrant person ready to help in any problems. The room is bright, clean, and it is located in a quiet neighbourhood. Very good WiFi. I strongly recommend both Hazel and the place.
A place clean, with kitchen facilities, fast wifi, a nice back garden, close to bus stops, shops, pubs and 10 minutes to Victorian Line. I enjoyed every moment that I lived in the Hazel's home, mainly because she has great sense of humor, is a lovely person concerned with the well being of her guests and always strives to be a great hostess. I definitely recommend Hazel's warm home to everyone!
We stayed in august so we were very grateful for the swimmingpool. Very well placed, 20mins walk to the city center and with easy parking places. Its a very small but cosy studio. May need some refurnishment.
Hazel is a very nice host
Very nice, clean, spacious house in an unusual area of London, with forest, arty Walthamstow Village street market, theatre and pubs. 10 min train ride to trendy Shoreditch, Brick Lane and Bethnal Green pubs, clubs and markets.
Friendly host. Highly recommended.
