I am an actress & garden designer. I'm warm and friendly and love living in London as it has so much to offer. I am well traveled and enjoy the arts.

Great area. Very clean. Listing spot on. Hazel open, kind and welcoming. A lovely London lady who made her home feel like my home.
Hazel you are very nice landlady, but sorry I want tell you just a thing: you have to clean more times your kitchen (and you know why) and your toilette.
CI TORNEREI IMMEDIATAMENTE!!!!!!!
Hazel has been an absolutely brilliant host. Very warm, kind, and chatty. Hvae very much enjoyed my stay with her. The room was lovely, and the house in general is really nice. Doubt you will find better value for money than a stay with Hazel!
I had a lovely time staying at Hazel's.
She is the most loving and caring woman you'll ever meet. It is a little far from Central London but I got used to it and I actually really enjoyed the daily bus and train rides.
The neighbourhood is also very worth seeing.
It is a lovely little house with nice people in it. I felt very welcomed and loved living there. All your questions will be answered.
I absolutely would want to stay again and I hopefully will.
The room was clean, comfortable, exactly as shown on pictures.
Perfect for those looking for a peaceful environment to stay, the house is about 2 minutes walking from a bus stop (Bus 123 ) 12 minutes from Blackhorse Station !
House is located in a nice residential area.
Hazel is one of the best person I ever meet, she's really friendly, very good sense of humor ! Always prompt to help, She's lovely !
Nice contact with the host and nice welcoming on site.
sehr zuverlässig. sehr sauber. zweckmäßig.
The room was very spacious and very beautiful. Also the area is very quiet. Perfect for studying! The house is in a very lovely street with beautiful houses and nice neighbors.
Hazel is a very nice and lovely person and can help you with anything you need.
The place is a little bit far away from the city but I got used to it. I recommend taking the train from Wood Street or the 123 bus to South Woodford that connects to the central line. I didn't like the bus tour through Walthamstow to Blackhorse Road Station very much and was happy I found those alternatives. South Woodford is great for shopping and hanging out by the way.
We were very disappointed with this Cannes apartment and with Hazel, the owner. When we arrived it was dirty and the refrigerator was out in the garden. It had to be moved inside and we had to clean the apartment ourselves. The kitchen was not functional as the stove did not work at all.
There was a lamp, but we could not plug it in so it was completely useless. We were told that we could not have 2 keys to the apartment which made it very difficult since my friend and I were there for the Cannes Film Fest (which we specifically told the owner beforehand) and we were on very different schedules.
We had to buy wifi but because of the area the apartment is in, the wifi was spotty at best. The owner knew we were there for business yet failed to mention this to us. We were promised reimbursement for the wifi but did not receive any.
What was also shocking was that the owner told us it was a 20 minute walk to the Palais. It was 3 miles away from the Palais - a good 45 minute walk, plus it is at the top of a large hill, so that made a very long walk even more difficult.
I would not recommend this apartment to anyone as I feel we were deliberately misled by Hazel. She promised to refund us some of our money but we have not received anything.
All in all this was a terrible airbnb experience.
Very nice, clean, spacious house in an unusual area of London, with forest, arty Walthamstow Village street market, theatre and pubs. 10 min train ride to trendy Shoreditch, Brick Lane and Bethnal Green pubs, clubs and markets.
Friendly host. Highly recommended.
