Clean convenient and well equipped. Comfortable bed. I would return if available in the future. Thank you Anna and her Mum, Kerry
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this ideal location, very well serviced with transport links close to the flat. The flat was very clean and well appointed and a very comfortable base for our stay. In the summer the garden would be lovely. A flat like this in the basement of a London Victorian home gives you a real sense of London living. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and good London pubs in Hampstead 2 tube stops away. Anna was very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.
The contact with the host was trouble-free, Anna always responded fast and answered to all our questions. Kerry, her mother, let us in upon arrival, and Anna checked us out.
Anna's apartment was very nice, quiet and clean, and it perfectly suited our week-long stay. As a couple, it suited us comfortably in size. It has the necessities for any length of stay, including very good internet connectivity, a good but compact bathroom facility, a well-equipped kitchen and a living room. The kitchen has all the appliances you could possibly need including a washer and drier. Each room is accessed by a few stairs (the kitchen being at basement level, the main bedroom at floor level). One of the best features of the flat is direct access to a lovely backyard, which we enjoyed on sunny mornings weather permitting. We found that the proximity to the rail is a non-issue, the flat is sufficiently quiet and isolated. The main bedroom has blinds for blocking out day light if you intend to sleep in.
Our plan had originally been to stay some place in Central London, until we realized that the way London is laid out, you need transportation from wherever you stay. We found West Hampstead to be a very well connected area, with its multiple bus, overground and underground facilities. The area itself is quite lively, with many shops and restaurants, and it was nice to get away from more touristy areas in the evenings. For a nearby Indian, we liked "Bengal Spice" just outside on West End Lane. We strongly recommend staying at Anna's place and would definitely hope to stay there again on our next trip to London.

West Hampstead is a great place to stay and this apartment is close to everything: tube, overground trains, ThamesLink trains, buses, supermarkets and cafes are all less than 5 minutes' walk away. The street is nice and even though it's close to West End Lane and backs onto the railway line it's very quiet and private in the apartment. Having a private entrance is great and access to the yard would have been nice if it were summer. Anna kindly looked after our luggage on our last day in London, which was a great help on that day. We would definitely stay again.
Anna's place is great. She is a fantastic host. She will always get back to you promptly and tries to help out in anyway she can. For example she got a port-a-cot for our 1 year old! She also let us check in early when it was raining.
The flat is nice, but for those with toddlers you do need to be careful as there are stairs.
Very close to public transport. Also, don't forget to go up the high street and not just down to the 'Tube' there are a lot more interesting shops and restaurants in the other direction.
The Flat was nice and it suited us well. It is located in a nice neighberhood and 2 stores are a minute away.
The West Hampsted overground and underground stations are 3 minutes away and there is also a bus stop for the line 139 near the stores.
We also recomend visiting the Ladudu vietnamese restaurant nearby.
Hanna and her family are beautiful people! It was a pleasure to host their in my home :)
