Love living in Lahaina. Offering our home to guests for 7 years. It's wonderful to meet people from all around the world and be reminded of what a beautiful place we live in. Aloha!
It is a kind of "Youth Hostel" and not at all a room in a private House. A bunch of young people stayed at the place. I have not met Aimee Paradise at all... The guy who runs the hostel was very nice and helpful. But I stayed only for one night (instead of 12) because it was not at all what I have expected.
While evoking the impression of being a separate room in a private home, this room is actually part of some kind of backpackers/hostel (there's a bunk room next door). Tony, currently the housekeeper and the only thing that deserves 5 stars about this place, works his a** off to keep everything running and as clean as possible. But don't be surprised about broken roofs, a big old pig sharing the living room with you (no joke), beers being stolen from the fridge or jeans being stolen out of the dryer (while drying!). The location is good and you can walk downtown, but we would not recommend to stay here.
