Im glad we went with Pedro's for part of our seattle trip. it was nice visiting a neighborhood that we would not have ever known about if we just stayed in the big city the whole time. Edmonds is a cute quite little town and only a 10 min walk from Pedro's house (two min. drive) which is very nice and in a beautiful area. the room downstairs is spacious and had a fridge and microwave and a fireplace. my 8 year old daughter loved sleeping on the hide-a-bed with me by the fire. very cozy down there. also it was nice to have our own private entrance/exit to outside. my favorite things about the stay were the little town of edmonds where we enjoyed lots of great meals and browsed some cute little shops. The best though was Pedro. what a great guy. very happy and helpful, a genuine guy. his dog bailey is s(phone number hidden)nice cute and awesome too.
Emerald Hills are very beautifull, the nature and the view from the house are breathtaking. Pedro prepared very thoroughly the place for us - including chocolate, tea, coffee and ice-cream in the fridge)))The room is very large with everything one can need, very clean and tidy.
The house is just 10-15 minutes from the centre of Edmonds on foot, that was very convenient for us, because we didn't have a car. The public commute is rather good - Lynnwood is ca. 20 min and downtown Seattle is ca. 40 min by bus.
Pedro is a very openhearted and active person with a great sense of humor. My daughter enjoyed playing with Bailey - the kindest dog on Earth. We loved our stay there, unfortunately is was only 3 days, and we hadn't enough time to learn each other better, but i hope we'll meet some day for deeper aquaintance, considering we live now not far away from Edmonds. So thank you Pedro for the beautifull time at yours. See you soon
P.S. And one more THANKS for helping us deliever our large baggage to a new place, now i understand we wouldn't manage it!
Pedro is a great host, he has a beautiful home and made us feel welcome from arrival to departure. We stayed downstairs in a large room with a comfortable queen bed and a hide-a-bed/couch. We were out late Saturday night and when we returned Pedro had made up the hide-a-bed and had a fire going for us. My daughter loved his dog "Bailey", the place was clean and the small fridge was stocked with water and goodies. Pedro is a interesting world traveler, a true gem of person and host. We definitely would stay with Pedro again. Cheers
Pedro is an exceptional host. The room was a very large and cozy with a fire place that we used most nights. The location was beautiful. It over looked the Puget Sound and Olympic National Rain Forest from the second floor. We could walk into town when we wanted; I even walked Pedro's dog for fun (sweetest retreiver ever) We would stay there again, no question.
Our staying at Pedro's one surely one of the highlights of our vacation. Pedro is an amazing person for his intelligence, culture, humanity and always positive attitude. He was always happy to help us making the most of our vacation, we cook together and shared beautiful moments of his house's terrace, enjoying the sunset of the sea. His house is beautiful and welcoming and our kids (twins which are 18 months and a teenager 14-year old) felt immediately at home. What for other people may have turned out to be a nightmare (two babies roaming in your house) was for Pedro a source of joy. The kids also played for hours with Bayley, Pedro's dog, which is both extremely friendly, and patient and funny (with big big eyes: "Would you please give me a piece of your cookie?").
It has been a wonderful experience and we are very glad to count Pedro among our friends.
Pedro is a very friendly and warm person, his house is located in the very advanced District yard and there is a beautiful view of the ocean sunset. The scenery is very beautiful, and has a very educated and gentle dog. My daughter used to be very afraid of dogs, but his dog is too friendly and we instantly fell in love with his dog. Pedro drove us to downtown Seattle and the dog beach and shopping. we enjoyed to stay with him very much.
Pedro has taken good care of the rooms, he even defrost the refrigerator and fix a minor problem in the shower.
Thank you. Hope to see him next time.
