I stayed at this place and can't recommend it enough. I had an amazing experience. The owner was exceptionally nice and very helpful. The house is large and renovated with a great kitchen. The previous person said that the floors smelled of polish since they had been newly redone. That was not my experience at all. They floors were brand new throughout the house with no smell whatsoever.
The other roommates who live there were friendly. The room had a large bed. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots and pans. There was lots of parking on the street. The location is very convenient. Also, you really can't beat the price, especially in this area! I really enjoyed my time and would highly recommend this place. Best part of all, there is a regular maid service!
I stayed here for 3 weeks. Overall the experience was only okay. The owners are nice and so is the home. The neighborhood is nice and conveniently located close to the George Washington bridge. The room has a closet and a bed. No other furniture. There is one window. You share a bathroom with one other person, and a kitchen with everyone in the house (3 other people). Parking is on the street .
The floors were recently re-done, and although they looked nice, the whole house smelled because of it. The house was often cold because the temperature was controlled by a girl who lives there all the time because the thermostat is in her room and she would turn it down if she left for the weekend. The house is for sale and so randomly with only an email the day prior, people would be coming through to look at the house. Don't bring valuables because there is no way for you to lock the room when you leave. The blinds are broken on the window so I had to hang a bed sheet as curtain. The bed was very comfortable, but, the fact that there was no furniture was challenging. I would bring a set of drawers if you plan to stay a while.
Overall it was a convenient location. The owner is very nice , easy to contact, and quick to respond .
My stay at the house was really great. Very close to the city and all the other locations I was rotating at for medical school. The house was perfect for what I needed. A little dirty when I first arrived but the cleaning lady came the following week and cleaned the whole house. Habiba was excellent making sure every hiccup along the way was fixed ASAP. Would recommend for over night stay or longer term stay
I stayed here for a month long rotation at a nearby hospital. Great location, easy access to NYC. Owner was very helpful. Rooms are furnished only with a bed so bring some sort of drawers or alot of hangers for the closet. Full kitchen with alot I space. Great experience overall
So I stayed with Amar and Habiba at their 200 water street apartment. They're awesome. Extremely nice and clean people. I found them to be extra-ordinarily friendly and helpful. Combined with the fact that their place is awesomely comfortable and spacious for a condo and has an amazing view of the East Side River made my stay all the better. Would definitely recommend them. I had a blast.
