The apartment was very well located. We stayed there 7 days and it was very nice. Unfortunately we did not meet Heather, but she organized everything for our arrival. Thanks again.
I had such a great time in Heaters little loft studio in Hell´s Kitchen. An area that I was not familiar with from previous 11 trips to NYC. But what a lovely surprise. Calm and safe area surrounded by lots of restaurants, just one avenue away from Times Square. You get good subway communications from Port Authority or Times Square and also walking distance to Central Park (10-15 minutes walk) and two avenues from Hudson River, where you find both parks, tracks for jogging and piers with different amusements (boat trips, bowling, golf range, museums etc).
Heaters place is perfect for either one person, two close friends or a couple! Sure you have to climb up the latter to the bed and not stand upright at the loft (important to have air conditioner at full speed in the evening otherwise it gets to warm up there, probably only in summer that is a "problem"). The apartment has everything you need (sofa, kitchen, bathroom etc), even though it´s a small place. Just as long as you are not planning on staying in and have dinner by the tv. You can rent a movie as there is a DVD-player and screen, but no tv channels or larger dinner table. Since I was there to experience New York as always, I didn´t mind at all about that. If you don´t want to go out for an expensive dinner in Soho/Meatpacking, you have great alternatives on 9th avenue and several food stores (Amish Market, Food Emporium, Wholefoods).
We had free wifi through Heaters broadband connection and the cute garden is cosy for breakfast or dinner. There is also sun a few hours in the morning until noon, before it disappears behind the buildings :)
Heather was a great host and very easy to communicate with from the start. She gave some good advice on places nearby and also checked in during my stay by email. So if you are ever uncertain of anything just ask and she will for sure help out!
I really recommend this place as it is truly a garden oasis in NYC!
Beautiful little spot! I loved my stay at Heather's sweet casa. It was very centrally located and safe. The back outdoor space was brilliant. It's perfect for one or two people. A lovely experience. Namaste!
Heather was fantastic from the start and took excellent care of the property. We enjoyed hosting her and would love to have her back again!
Heather is one of the most beautiful people I have ever traveled through this life with. She is thoughtful, generous, and kind, and has created her apartment to be a true midtown Manhattan oasis - a place to find tranquility and grace. If you ever have the honor of holding her space, you will feel the undeniable beauty of her soul. Use this space to find your own inner peace and true essence! You will be so glad you did.
