We booked Patricks apartment but unfortunately he could not provide us with the keys as it was agreed per email before. He offered us to leave the key in an envelope, so we can take it from there. When we arrived there was no envelope. We waited about 3 hours in front of the main entrance until he could reach the apartment manager to give us the keys.
Even he did not have a second pair of keys, so we had to spend the whole evening at his place because we could not leave and reenter the apartment.
Even the next morning the apartment manager did not show up where we agreed to meet each other.
Patrick tried to solve the problem but could not do it appropriately. We lost a lot of time because of this problem.
In addition the apartment was not as clean as it should be when you rent it. Dirty dishes as well as hairs in the bathroom. Also the
bed linen were not clean and had smudge on it.
The reservation was canceled 4 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The flat was perfect for us, centrally located with the university, shops etc close by. We had everything we required for a stay of nearly three weeks though admittedly we were not trying to cater for dinners for ourselves.
Patrick's place was perfect for a recent stay in New Haven. He was a great host, being very patient with all my questions and guiding me around to find things in the neighborhood. Really enjoyed the area as well, I love to walk and enjoyed exploring all the cool cafes and restaurants, not to mention the Yale campus.
Patrick is very nice and let us into the apartment offering to share whatever information we needed to know about New Haven. The apartment is located in the center of town and was very convenient during our stay. The bed and furnishings in the living room were very comfortable but the kitchen was lacking making it difficult to cook. Also, the apartment, while generally clean, could use a deep clean. But - it is an old university housing building so the constant change of hands begins to show its ware.
Overall, the experience was very nice and price very reasonable for somewhere so central. I would stay there again.
Patrick's apartment was clean and nicely set-up for guests. It was walking distance to lots of places to eat and shop as well as Yale's main campus. Patrick was friendly and helpful. We had a great time in New Haven.
Patrick's place has one of the best locations in New Haven, it's quiet and minutes away from Yale, and all the shops and restaurants. He wasn't able to receive us when we were there, but his friend Josh was great, he helped us with our baggage, and recommended a restaurant which turned out to be one of the best meals on our trip.
The apartment is just like the photos, spacious and spotless clean. Patrick washed the sheets and left some clean towels on the bed, it was one of the best stays we had, and we will definitely stay at Patrick's again if we go back!
This is a sweet little apartment in a very convenient location. It was perfect for my 4-night stay as I visited my Yale friends. I really enjoyed walking to the nearby cafes (Atticus is great!) and checking out the Yale architecture in the neighborhood. And the price was right :)
Amazing apartment, really enjoyed everything about this place. Patrick was very accommodating with the time we arrived and departed. The location was perfect, only a block away from Yale and many restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this studio!
Patrick was very nice and thoughtful. He and his girlfriend were very quiet and not around much, so I didn't have much time to speak to him. The interactions we did have were very pleasant. They were affectionate to the dogs, and overall, seem like very nice people and I would have them again. They left the room in very good shape. Very clean and considerate people.
