I wake up every day with a silly grin on my face because I am totally in love with the beautiful city I live in - San Francisco. I've lived here for two years and have met so many amazing people and have gone on so many wonderful adventures right in my own backyard. When I'm not getting lost in my own city, I love exploring the rest of this big beautiful world. I rarely pass up an opportunity to go somewhere new and I love talking with people and seeing where they live.
I have traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia, Europe, New Zealand, South America, and the United States. I love the hustle and bustle of city life, but some of my most memorable trips have been to places that have very few people. One place in particular that has a special place in my heart is Bahia de Los Angeles in Baja. Mexico. It is still relatively untouched and it is my idea of paradise. My best friend's grandpa built a beach house there back in the 1950s when the only way you could get to the village was by plane. The days are long, the clams and fish are delicious, and you just have this feeling of absolute calm come over you the second you get there. I also feel most at peace visiting my relatives in Lucca, Italy, or catching up with friends in Ocean Beach down in San Diego. Give me a glass of wine and some good conversation and I'm all set.
When it comes to travel, I like to roll with the punches. I am equally happy sleeping on the couch at someone's cabin or living it up in a luxurious penthouse. I believe it's the people you surround yourself with that make a trip truly special. I can't wait to go on my next adventure. I feel like a trip to Egypt or a tropical Caribbean island is in store, but I am always open to ideas. Happy travels everyone!
