Hey my name is Rick and I am here to give you the best vacation you could ever wish for in Island Park, ID.
Lovely cabin, great for 4, in the middle of the wood... We felt so good in it we left later than expected for Yellowstone every day! We enjoyed the barbecue, the hot tub, however know that wifi is not in the cabins, but at reception.
The cabin was clean, and the restaurant at phillip's lodge was great. There is no wifi at the cabins, and the faucet leaks and the dishwasher ran all night. Just a little maintenance issues. Overall the cabin is nice and the comforters on the bed were the bomb..
We spent 5 wonderfull days in Rick's place with our 5 kids. The cabin was very confortable and very well decorated. We really appreciated the jaccuzzi. Rick is a really attentive host and did everything he can to make our stay as nice as possible. We would love to go back there and why not in winter.
Our stay was fantastic. Rick and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The cabin was tidy and comfortable. It is about a 25 minute easy drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone. The hot tub felt lovely in the evenings and early morning. Be aware that there is no oven at the cabin. We tried to grill our frozen pizza:-)
Our 4-night stay in the one bedroom lodge was very comfortable and pleasant. We were only with 2 so plenty of space. Place is clean and has all amenities you'd expect.
The park itself is pretty small and very quiet and peaceful, which is good. The outside hot tub is a big plus and absolutely great to stay in for a while, especially when the nights are a bit chilly.
Yellowstone west entrance is 30+ minutes drive and easy to reach. Great place and definitely recommended!
We stayed at Rick's cabin for 3 nights while doing our visit to Yellowstone. The cabin is really nice, we loved the private hot tub especially. Rick passed us some map of West Yellowstone that came pretty handy. The drive from the cabin to the west entrance of the park is flat and easy, even it's 28 miles away.
