Bela apartment's was a nice experience. Bela gave us plain explication about how arrive at apartment and Bela's mother was very friendly with us. The apartment was good furnish and near of central city. Thank for all!
Very nice neighborhood, Bela was very easy to communicate with and his mother (who met us and showed us the apartment) was super nice and friendly. The apartment is very beautiful, and ideally located on a quite street close to everything you want to do in Budapest. We loved our stay!
Béla's mom, Eva, was great! We were very touched by how sweet she was, and it was a lot of fun communicating through the language barrier. The apartment is very comfortable and fairly close to a metro station that can take you straight downtown. We did have a little bit of trouble with the shower, but that was mostly because we weren't used to the setup, and we had it figured out by the time we left! Overall, it was a great deal and well worth it.
Upon arrival we were welcomed by a lady who was very helpful and kind. Even though she did not speak English we understood her explaining gestures without problems.
Location is very close to tram and metro stops and supermarkets.
We were two couples sharing the apartment and it was great that you could separate the two rooms.
In November it is cold in Budapest and the only heating in the apartment was a big gas-oven in the living room - which resulted in a freezing kitchen and toilet in the mornings - but we did not stay there during the day and the living room had a pleasant temperature when we returned in the afternoon.
The kitchen is well equipped.
The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe.
We would recommend this apartment to others.
Wonderful experience at a great price! Conveniently located near public transportation and awesome bars :) Thanks Bella!
Bèla's flat has a unique charm. Bèla's mother, Èva, is an angel who waited for me and received me at the building's front door as my flight was delayed and I got later in the evening. Whilst I stayed there, I wasn't able to use the gas stove as it was not functioning properly, yet, Béla made the arrangements for the situation to be fixed in record time. The building's stairs and facade are a bit scary, yes, but a part of the whole experience. I could get a real good rest whilst exploring the city.
Our flight was delayed and Bela was great at responding to my updates - his poor mother waiting for us until 11pm! She was really kind and showed us around the place.
Location wise, you are walking distance to where all of the main bars are, although you're not right in the thick of it. This didn't bother us though as the apartment was super quiet at night.
Budapest is an awesome city and Béla's place is very close to the nice places. We enjoyed our trip and the apartment is nice. Béla's mother showed us around and everything was clear. Nice place! Would recommend to everyone who wants to enjoy the city and doesn't need to hang out at the room for ever when on holidays.
We stayed for three nights and could have spent longer still in the city. Bela has a neat, simple place around 10 minute walk from some of the coolest ruin bars. Greeted by Bela's mum who was really friendly and helpful. Thanks!
