Unbeatable view. Comfortable stay. Unique decor. Delicious homemade breakfast. Luca and Paola were amazing hosts. Extremely welcoming and gracious. Will definitely return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Amalfi coast.
Everything was fantastic!!
The house was very lovely and the parking lot was perfect. The view from the balcony is so great. We do enjoy the view so much.
Luca and his wife Paola was absolutely amazing, very helpful, very kind.
Thank you Luca! Thank you Paola!
Thank you for the lemon you give to me!
Lucca was a great host! We got there late the first night and helped us with our bags and offered us some drinks while we settles in. Then he gave us information on how to get around, restaurants and sites to see. Also, beach is within walking distance, what else could you ask for on vacation? We ended up doing most of the things Lucca had recommended and ended up having a great time. Praiano is a lovely place and the view from the balcony was amazing. The breakfast in the morning was nice and the cappucino I'll miss. You can tell Lucca loves his B&B and it definitely shows. Great place, great host and I love the town.
We went to Amalfi, Ravello and Positano but I can honestly say the best food and drinks were right in Praiano.
1. Armandino- a 5 min walk down right on the beach.
2. Che bonta- cute little pizza (website hidden) del sole- was a great place for drinks and views of the ocean.
We had a lovely stay in this B&B. The very clean appartment is quite large with a balcony with beatiful views. The breakfast was fine (with bread/fruit/yoghurt/juice/coffee/tea) and you can walk to the beach within 5 minutes. Luca is a very helpful host.
Note however that there are multiple room/appartments within this B&B, and that it is very easy to hear each other. We were glad we decided to stay here instead of somewhere within a larger town along the coast; it was not as hectic and less touristic.
You can park your car in front of the B&B.
We stayed multiple nights at the Gaudi room at Luca's place. Luca is very friendly and provided us with good advice regarding places to go to. The location is outside Praiano but on walking distance to Praiano's marina (with multiple restaurants and a beach with sun until 16.15). There is free parking available at the location. The room is beautifully decorated and the view from the balcony is great. Small drawbacks are the noisiness of the other rooms and the toughness of the bed. The restaurant Armandino at the beach is very nice for lunch. The location is very good for daytrips to Positano, Amalfi or Ravello. Luca recommended us also the visit the mountain at Termini / Nerano. This was very nice and something different than the touristy alternatives. The restaurant Miracapri was perfect for lunch with a beautiful view on Capri. I can strongly recommend Luca as a host!
Luca was a fantastic host. The place is great and has a stunning view. He even offered to drive us to the beginning of the walk of the gods hike which was great and organized our transportation to the airport. I would definitely stay there again.
Luca and Paola have a beautiful B&B situated in a very sunny part of Praiano, with an incredible view over the bay. Our room was tastefully decorated and very private. Prior to our arrival, Paola was very helpful in assisting us with ferry and bus times, and Luca went out of his way to pick us up from the bus stop. During our stay they also helped us hugely by booking restaurants for us and providing bus timetables. Breakfast is served on your private balcony each morning, which is a lovely way to start the day. Gelsomino is ideally located out of the hustle and bustle of Positano, but within 20mins bus ride if you fancy it. It's also a short walk down the hill to a beach with several awesome restaurants... highly recommend it for a peaceful experience of the Amalfi Coast.
Staying in the Gaudi Room was pleasant and Luca and Paola were lovely! It was well maintained, clean and the private bathroom was modern and comfortable to use. Luca and Paola gave advice on what to do and helped make my stay more enjoyable. Upon my arrival, the Sita bus dropped me off too early in the town of Praiano at stop #6 (make sure it's stop #11 of Praiano as they indicate...) I called Paola and she came to get me without hesitation. It's not very far, but 2 km with a heavy bag is different. Breakfast was always served to me in the AM before I left on my daily adventures. It was fresh and delicious! The room was even cleaned daily. The view was beautiful as well. It was great drinking my coffee with the scene before me. I'll miss this place, the town and the lovely people. Thank you Luca and Paola for such a pleasant stay!
nice place. excellent views. Luca and his wife were accomodating
We were met and greeted by Luca and Paola on arrival. Luca and Paola have answered all questions we had and given us useful hints on what we have to see, where to go to dinner and how to get back to Rome faster the day we were leaving. Our stay was pleasant, we liked the view and location of room Gaudi. Place is quiet with a great beach and 2 restaurants in short walk distance. Boats to Capri depart directly from the beach and provide a lot to see and do for 60 euros per person fee. Room was made and towels changed every day. Free parking is definitely a plus for those with a car. Breakfast is served to the room with a personal touch Paola adds by baking own cakes. The only thing that caught me off guard was an extra charge for air conditining. I found a note in Italian mentioning extra charge for air conditioning later in confirmation email, which was written in English. But Luca was willing to work this out by offering a discount. Definitely recommend staying in room Gaudi to others.
