I`m a 20 years old student of medicine. When I don`t study, I love to travel, meet new people and cultures.
Karolina and her boyfriend Miha were perfect hosts! Very kind and helpful and it was pleasant to stay at their place for one week :) They left to us their parking space in garages, which was amazing and one day they took us on a trip to Šmarna Gora (mountain where on the top you can have typical Slovenian food).
Room is actually bigger than it looks on the pictures, bed is comfy, windows are to the side street so even if they are opened there is no major noise. Whole flat is very clean and tidy.
Tha flat is on a good place, right next to big Tivoli park for nice dog walks and also near to the center (15min walk)
In the center we can recommend these places: Lolita cafe (with delicious cakes), Klobasarna (tasty sausages), Sisi shop (shop with home accessories and "design food", mostly scandinavian design; shop is in heart of old Ljubljana), then Flat (another shop with home gadgets, decorations and crazy gifts), Babushka boutique (near to Karolina's place, shop with handmade jewelry and another products by Slovenian designers and creators)
I can highly recommend this place and these people as hosts! Thank you guys, we enjoyed staying with you so much! :)
Karolina is a lovely person and a great host. Her flat is comfortable, clean, quiet, and well-located. Groceries, Tivoli park, the center, and the railway/bus station are all within walking distance, and there is a bus stop that several lines use only about 100 m away. I really enjoyed my stay!
Karilona's house was very clean and tidy. the room was bigger than I thought and comfy. We found maps in the room when we first got there which was great! The house is 10mins walk away from the center, safe and easy to walk home. She has a parking space and we were able to park our car. You should try the bakery in Celovska Avenue, a minute walk away from her house. We were happy to spend some time with Karolina and her boyfriend. Wish we could have stayed longer in lovely Ljubljana.
These guys make for good guests. They are clean, tidy and sociable. They've got some great stories to tell about their travels and are welcome back here anytime.
They are a great couple! We spent some fun time with them sharing our experiences, culture, way of life, etc. Their route through Brazil, US and Dublin was sensational!
They are very good english speakers, and the hard part was just trying to translate the Slovenian language, but Amanda did that (maybe?)! :-)
Miha was a great guest - would be happy to host again anytime!
