Paul and Amy stayed with me for >2 weeks (longer than anyone I’ve hosted), and they couldn’t have been better guests. They’re a great couple who were interesting to get to know; their communication prior to arrival was excellent; they were fantastic with my dogs (who loved them); and they were extremely considerate, quiet, and CLEAN. I’m more than happy to recommend Paul and Amy to other hosts.
Paul is for sure on the top 10 guests I had so far.
It was so much fun having him over and chat with him for hours.
Some guests treat your place as if they are in a hotel and expect you to treat them as such, with almost no interaction. They use your place as just a place to sleep, not bothering to get to know your host. I am fine about that, but it is really nice when we have guests like Paul. You feel that they are like an old friend, or a close relative who comes for a visit. It was like that with Paul. He arrived from a intercontinental flight, visibly tired, but kind enough to just sit in the porch with me and talk for a while. It was really nice to have that type of connection, and have the British vibe that I missed. At some point I related his accent to Carl Pilkington and I never saw the end of it for the whole week that he stayed. LOL Paul's sense of humor is just amazing and you won't get tired of it.
In the first morning he was blown away with the VIP breakfast I made just for him and it was a pleasure to see so much appreciation for the way I treat my guests.
I love it when nice, friendly, respectful and funny guests stay for a longer time. Feels like family. You kind of feel a bit sad when they are gone.
Hopefully I will have Paul again, and luckily he will bring his wife with him next time. I herd so much about Amy that she feels like family too.
Yes, please have Paul as your guest and you will have a very pleasant AirBnb experience.
Paul and Amy are a lovely couple and delightful guests. They are relaxed, seasoned travelers. Any host would be lucky to have them as guests. I hope they will be back to Austin before long.
