Stephane's place was the best experience and made our Paris vacation so wonderful. Everything from the quaint, clean apartment to the amazing neighborhood was nothing less than charming. We will stay here next time we are in Paris.
Stephane's friend Jonathan was there waiting for us when we arrived and showed us around the apartment and everything we needed.
The apartment was on a quiet street in the most amazing location.
We had an amazing time and would stay there again, but the beds were a bit hard.
조용한 동네에 있는 곳으로 집이 크고 넓은것이 장점이다. 좋은 뷰를 가지고 있지는 않지만 조용히 머물고 싶은 사람에게는 괜찮은 선택인 숙소이다
We wanted our first experience of Paris to be as close to being Parisian as possible. We didn't want a hotel, we wanted "our own" apartment. Stephane's place was absolutely perfect. We were welcomed by a friend of the host, who showed us around, showed us how things worked, where things were stored, how the recycling and garbage collection worked. There was an immediate connection to the place that would be ours for the next two weeks. Cozy may make it sound too small when in fact the two main rooms (the bedroom and the living-dining room) were large, comfortable, well lit, and perfect in size. The kitchen was on the small side (very small), but we knew that most of our meals would be part of our discovery of Paris. However it was fine for making our own breakfast, and on a couple of occasions dinner too. It is in a great location. A casual 20-minute walk south along wonderful, narrow streets and suddenly you're on rue Rivoli, city hall is right there, a few more steps south to the Seine, across a bridge to Île Saint-Louis or Île de la Cité and you're staring at Notre Dame. We highly recommend the Batobus, which is a hop on, hop off boat service with stops at all the key places. The apartment has large windows which open easily to keep the air fresh, and there are modern electric heaters at each window for those nights or mornings when things might get a bit chilly. The Picasso Museum is about a five minute walk east and at the corner of the street there's the Breizh Café which offers up the best crepes we have ever had. The apartment has a clothes washer and there's a laundromat down the street and around the corner for drying. The area abounds with great food and shops. Don't miss the nearby Marché des Enfants Rouges for fresh food and its range of Italian, Lebanese, African, Japanese and other food stalls. Being more or less central to everything, everything is fairly easy to get to. In short, it's ideal for a couple or for a small family (it can sleep 4 using a convertible couch). I would stay there again without hesitation.
Stephane's flat was perfect for our four-night stay in Paris. It could not have been better located, was stylish, well-equipped, comfortable and surprisingly quiet at night. Stephane and Jonathan, who introduced us to the place, were extremely kind and helpful. This was an all-around great experience.
Very communicative, made to feel very welcome. Easy to deal with and helpful. Great apartment in the best area of Paris, the first floor is a great asset with heavy suitcases, a rarity. Place was clean and comfortable. Plenty of lights to use and the place is bright and welcoming. We felt entirely at home here and the key/entry procedure was very easy and straightforward. Paris is our favourite city and after many visits this would have to be the best accommodation yet. Will stay here again.
Nice flat on a quiet street near many bars, restaurants and markets. Stephane was easy to communicate with and check-in went smoothly. Thanks!
My sister and I rented this flat for 4 nights and it was perfect for our stay. We wanted a flat to give us a more authentic Parisian lifestyle. The street is quiet and is in the perfect location next to some of the best cafes. We thought we were in a dead metro zone but found we could easily and directly walk to Filles du Calvaire on the purple line. One stop down is Republique with a few more connecting lines great for getting to Gare Du Nord for the airport or heading to Saint Germain - or anywhere else we wanted. Pictures are accurate and we weren't surprised by anything. We loved our stay. Check in and out were both easy. Jonathan met us for check in. He's very friendly and helpful. Stephane was great about responding to questions and requests leading up to and during the stay. Would book again.
Stephane was a great host! He easily accommodated changes to our itinerary, was very responsive, and in all ways a perfect host. His place was clean, spacious, and a great oasis in the middle of Paris. I would definitely recommend staying at Stephane's!
