I had such a great experience staying with Chapman. He was a wonderful host and although I was in Louisville to work and wasn't around a lot Chapman made sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable in him home. His house is really beautiful and his dogs are some of the sweetest dogs I've ever met!
We didn't get to meet Chapman, but he organised keys for us to access the house, and this worked ok.
The suburb is beautiful, with lovely old homes and gardens with huge old trees. good shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. street parking outside the house worked well. The Area felt very safe.
The house has a very impressive exterior, and the inside is under renovation but has a modern kitchen and our bedroom was spacious with comfortable clean beds. The bathroom was clean but very old, and although there was hot water we could not work out how to get the shower working.
We only stayed one night- and it was adequate for an overnight.
Chapman was the perfect host! The house is fantastic, the room is great, and he was extremely friendly. He provided tons of recommendations for things to do, and I had a wonderful time in Louisville as a result. This was my first experience with Airbnb, and I can only hope they're all this good.
Chapman is a warm and welcoming host and his Cherokee Park location was super-convenient for me. It was easy to park and easy to get to local shops and restaurants on Bardstown Rd.
My reservation was last-minute and Chapman's quick responses to the request went a long way towards reducing the stress of the whole trip. He was also very accommodating to my request for early check-in (thanks again!)
I slept well in the private room, and also really enjoyed hanging out in the parlor with Chapman's friendly dogs.
This is a charming home in a gorgeous neighborhood, and the park across the street is perfect for a jog or stroll. Beds were comfy and all needs were anticipated. I would stay here again. Thanks, Chapman!
Chapman was a wonderful host and his place was unbelievable. It was a huge old home that he had renovated on his own, it truly was beautiful. It was within walking distance to Bardstown Road, which is one of the more hip areas of town, and was also right next to Cherokee Park.
We had a great time with Chapman and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Chapman was an excellent host! This home is amazing and is located in a charming neighborhood. Stroll the tree lined streets, or explore the park across the street--you can't go wrong with this neighborhood. Bardstown road is a 5 minute walk from this house. When I visit L'ville in the future, this home is definitely on my list!
Thanks Bruce, it was great meeting you. Glad you enjoyed... you are welcome any time!
Chapman was a great guest. Happy to have him.
I was out of town, but my roommates said he was a good guest. Fun and easy to get along with
Chapman was awesome!! He was very friendly, easy to talk to, and courteous. I would welcome Chapman back anytime.
