My family is from Colorado Springs, and we love to travel!
We had the pleasure of welcoming Phil and his family in Paris over the Christmas holidays.
Absolutely wonderful guests from the start!
We had great communication from the beginning and throughout their stay.
Once in Paris, Phil and his family treated the apartment with extreme care (Phil even fixed an issue with the drain in the shower while they were during their visit as our handyman was out of town!)
Needless to say, the apartment was absolutely impeccable when they left.
As a bonus, Phil and his wife purchased a stroller for their little girl during the trip & they generously decided to leave it in Paris with some tour books for future guests to enjoy.
I highly recommend them to anyone who has the opportunity to host them in the future!
First of all i must say that i understand Phil's frustration and want him to know that cancelling his reservation was a hard decision to make and that's why it took a while.
It is important for airbnb community to understand that the property booked by Phil is the one where i live with my husband and 2 young children.
We had scheduled to leave for the Christmas period and decided to rent our place meanwhile.
A few weeks after the booking my husband and I needed to change our plans for family reasons and contacted Phil by phone in order to shorten his stay by 3-4 nights; in the meantime we offered him to cancel the reservation, in case he could find a better deal in another property. Although I initially thought that we could come to an agreement, I have decided to cancel the reservation because we couldn't match Phil's demands.
I have been a member of Airbnb since 7 months and renting 2 other properties that are solely for renting purpose and have had more than 20 guests within this period, among those were a lot of American people: you can check my reviews and check that both customer service and reliability are the main words that show up on my 17 existing reviews.
I hope to welcome Phil and his family in Paris in better circumstances in the future.
