We spent two nights in this quiet, spacious house. It was well equipped and comfortable. The place has its quirks - it is short on wardrobe space, the bedroom lights are awkward, and the top of the partitions between the bedrooms are made of glass, which means that when a light is on in one room it could disturb others. Nina was very helpful. At one point the shower drain was blocked, but she arranged for a plumber to come within a hour. Full marks for quick service. The retro motif has its charm. We appreciated the fact that there is no wi-fi, which helped keep the kids away from their wretched devices. The location is great - minutes by foot from the town centre, which is surprinsingly vibrant at night. In short: this is a pleasant, idiosynchratic place to stay.
Nina's place was absolutely filled with retroness awesomeness!! We fell in love with it as soon as we arrived. It was a 5 minute walk to the centre of town where you were greeted with an array of restaurants for brunch and dinner including a boutique deli and sorbet/gelato place! The vineyards were only a stones throw away. The house was very light filled and comfortably accommodates everyone. The BBQ was fantastic and had two roast after acquiring beautiful cuts of meat from Scotty the butcher. Would recommend this to everyone. Thanks heaps Nina!!
