We had a great time during our visit to Fairbanks. I highly recommend this place for the following reasons:
1. Cozy and clean apartment and very friendly hosts
2. The studio is above a cafe called Lunch, which serves some delicious food
Thank you Julia and Zoe!
My trip to the north pole was a success thanks in large part to Zoe's mother meeting me in the middle of the night. The place was clean, cozy an comfortable an I would recommend it to anyone in town to see the beautiful frontier.
Zoe, along with her brother and helpers downstairs are all super nice people! She takes care of almost everything you'll possibly need! And you can just tell from her decor of the room and linens and washroom that she keeps everything so clean and tidy. The room is exactly like the picture, it is indeed in a great location. The final line of the Yukon Quest is just by the Chena River bridge 0.5 mile away. Zoe is also very responsive in answering any questions about getting around town, even tips for watching the northern lights. I had fantastic experience staying at Zoe's place.
Clean, comfy space. Great location, kitchen is fully stocked and host is accommodating and hospitable. Highly recommeded.
Wow, three weeks staying in downtown Fairbanks! The studio was indeed cozy, warm, great internet, and the best coffee, cinnamon rolls, and veggie omelet just below me at the Lunch Cafe. The location was within walking distance of a co-op grocery, several nice restaurants, a beautiful library, a gym, a swimming pool, The Morris Thompson Cultural Center, and the gorgeous Chena River. Yes, I will be returning and thank you to my host, Julia.
I enjoyed my experience at Zoe's studio tremendously. The cafe downstairs serves delicious healthy meals from locally grown food. Julia, Zoe's mom, was my host and she was very helpful, interesting to talk to, and a great all around host. If you want to be in town this is a great option
This was a perfect spot to stay in Fairbanks. It is in a great location on top of a great little Cafe called Lunch. This made getting breakfast really easy every morning and was the perfect launching point for all of the activities we wanted to do each day.
The studio is exactly as advertised. It's cozy, has a full kitchen, and running water (not a given in AK). If you're looking for a one bedroom, this was definitely way better than a hotel!
We absolutely loved Zoe's apartment! It was cute and clean and perfect for our visit to Fairbanks. Zoe was great with communication and her mom, Julia, was also very helpful in many, many ways. You will be delighted with the hospitality and warm welcome you will receive. Julia's restaurant downstairs is perfect for breakfast and/or lunch. Delicious! Thank you so much for hosting us. We had a very enjoyable stay in Fairbanks.
We were made to feel very welcome and the property was exactly as described. The location was perfect. It's a very friendly town, and everyone is helpful.
This was a great little space just over the bridge from downtown, easy access anywhere. Kitchenette was just enough for my 6 nights there. Only thing I would add is to have a portable fan for use in summer as it was slightly warm in the evening and not much wind to break the warm feel in the air. Otherwise having the eatery downstairs was fantastic. Thank you for a great stay!
