Taryn's apartment is a nicely-maintained & very large apartment on the top sunny floor of an old building, right in one of the most centrally-located neighborhoods in Los Angeles. This happens to be one of my favorite neighborhoods in Los Angeles. If you like Starbucks or Chipotle or Subway or a neighborhood convenience store that's open late, you're literally a few steps away from all of this. And you're just a 3-minute drive from Whole Foods, The Grove, Farmer's Market, Trader Joe's, LACMA, and many more awesome places! This neighborhood sort of has a New York City feel to it. Taryn's apartment was very clean for me upon my arrival, with fresh towels and plenty of blankets... and the bed was extremely comfortable! And the heat worked great on the cold winter nights that I was there!! Best of all, Taryn's apartment is incredibly quiet and the wireless Internet is fast! Taryn was a very communicative host who was very easy to contact, and she always had answers when questions arose. The only challenge with this apartment is the parking situation. It is very difficult to find street parking if you come home after 7pm, so you have to find a parking meter which requires you to move your car before 7am or insert money before 8am (depending on the meter). Luckily, Taryn came to the rescue with this situation, and told me about a parking lot 1 block over which lets you pay $30 for overnight parking for up to 30 days. I paid the $30 and used this lot almost every night, except for one night when the lot was also completely filled. However, the lot requires you to start paying additional money after 9am, so you'll still have to wake up by 9am. For a "late-to-sleep, late-to-rise" person like me, the parking situation made things a little bit inconvenient, but if you keep more "normal business hours" than me, you shouldn't be too badly affected by this. But ultimately, the parking situation did not deter from what was otherwise an excellent experience. And again, Taryn was fantastic!! She was always there whenever I needed her! Thanks, Taryn! :)

We really loved our stay at Taryn's and couldn't recommend it highly enough. She's a great host, greeting us with cookies on arrival. The apartment is beautiful and clean, with lots of natural light, great furniture and books. It's centrally located and in close proximity to lots of surrounding sights, making it easy to get around. Car parking could be a little tricky at times, but the permit allowed us to source spaces nearby. We'll definitely be back!
Taryn's apartment was lovely. Bright, clean and even nicer than the pictures, it was in a central location with a lovely view of the skyline. Taryn was a great host who even gave me a map of everything I would need within walking distance. Definitely recommend.
We absolutely loved Taryn's apartment! It is really spacious and extremely light and the area is perfect for accessing LACMA, The Grove and the rest of the city. Taryn greeted us with fresh baked cookies and sorted out parking for us within a few days. We would be delighted to stay there again and can't recommend it highly enough as a place to stay in Los Angeles.
It was a totally great place to stay: the apartment is beautifull: very sunny with massive windows and great view – it was very clean and quiet and we had absolutely everything we needed! Taryn was a great host: she even welcomed us with a bottle of wine! and gave us a lot of suggestions for visiting the town. We will definitally see her again when coming back to LA.
The space is perfectly located between hills, sea and town. We would totally recommend it to everybody!
