DO NOT RENT THIS APARTMENT!!
Hello, we are a family of four, that just stayed at ayelet´s apt. We would like to tell all people not renting this apartment ever. We had a lo of problems with Ayelet.
At the first time, when you arrive to the apartment, you realized that it is in a great location, you feel happy, but not for long, because the location is the only positive thing which has the apt.
The building and the inside the building are in poor condition. We think, ok doesn´t matter, we saw the apt and we liked a lot..and thats not the reality, when we go inside, the women asked us for the 75 $ cleaning fee, we accept inmediatly and gave it to her.
After she went out, we began to examin the apt. and this is what we found: a broken cabinet, a broken window, it was not clean at all, internet didn´t work, the sofa bed was horrible full of springs and metal bars, no one coudln´t sleep there, the air matress she told us she had wasnt an air mattress, it was just a small mat, not even enough for one person, so we had to sleep eac nigth two in the bed and the other two in that kind of mat, imagine there were always two of us who didnt rest by night...
So, with this situation, we decided to called the women and also AYELET, and guess what?THEY DIDN´T ANSWER THE PHONE ANY DAY!! we couldnt contact nor the women either ayelet during the hold week we spent at NY..
Our reccomendation, if you are one or two people, it is not so bad, but we though there has to be a better option, chek it...If you are more than 2 people, forget this apartment, do not let it to ruin your vaccation.
I was at first tentative about booking because I had seen somewhat negative feedback but decided to take the plunge and was glad that I did. Talia is a very nice woman and met me at the apartment for check-in; the process went very smoothly, and I found her cleaning price to be reasonable. The apartment is just as it looks in the pictures, and very comfortable. I never heard or really interacted with any neighbors, so that was good; the building is a respectful place. The location was also great. Overall, my two-day stay went very well and I thank Talia for that. I would recommend her place to anyone.
I stayed at Ayelet's apartment on 52nd St. in between 8th and 9th Ave in Manhatten for four days and three nights Oct 27th to 30th. She met me on time in front and showed me the apt. I found it to be very clean. The apt. had everything a person could possibly need from clean towels to dishes to bedding. The area was perfectly located 2 blocks from Times Square, 1 block from Broadway. Right in the heart of the resteraunt district
with everything else within walking distance. The area is totally safe and friendly. The location can not be beat! Ayelet was very courteous and did not intrude on my privacy in any way. The nieghbours are quite and respectful. If I were to visit NYC again, I would stay at Ayelet's in a heartbeat!!!
Thank you again Ayelet!
All the best to you.
tres beau parquet
manque rideau pour occulter la lumiere
Nice apartment in a great location, overall a positive experience.
Strong smell of chlorine gives a sence it's a tramp's shelter.
Bathroom is poor and gives a some challenge to win a fungus - we've used sneakers. The doors in bathroom and closet was made by cardboard.
Airconditioner is roaring, it's impossible to sleep.
Stairs in building of '50s (brownstone, classics) has very interesting smell of cats.
In other aspects it's great location with very beautiful parket.
I could have happy days in NY by staying at Ayelet room. The building was old one, but the room was reformed and kept clean. It took only 5-10 min to Broad way from here, very convenient. When I felt tired, I could return to the room and have a nap. Small problem is that the building is located in downtown, so noize from the outside sometimes continued till midnight, but I could have sleep among the noize.
This is a lovely apartment in a fantastic location.
YOU DO NOT WANT TO STAY IN THIS PLACE. It was filthy, like not being cleaned for many months. The bathroom was so dirty I had to force myself to take a shower. The place is also not maintained. After two days the cables went off and the owner did not bother to deal with it and fix it. This was not a good experience. The only good thing about this place is its location so if the owner would make changes in the way they manage it, it could be an adeal place for staying in.
