Sotaro was a very good host. I'm recommending staying at his place.
Many thanks for the quick and spontanious confirmation of my reservation. Finding the house in the dark (it was also rainy) wasn't that easy. But we wanted to find it on our own without taking a taxi and it worked at the end quite well. The one night stay at the house had everything we'd expected and needed. The big room with the two comfortable beds is a very good choice for everybody who doesn't want to sleep on a futon. At the morning Soutaro was already out for work. We took a shower in the shared bath and put the key like discussed in the keybox before leaving the house.
Thanks for having us.
We were very happy to stay at Sotaros place for one night in tokyo. His place was comfortable, clean and quiet while we were adjusting from our drastic time change. We thought that Sotaro was going to be out when we arrived but he was home and quick to show us around and answer our questions. The biggest recommendation we have is to make sure you have a paper map to find your way to his, as it was a tad tricky. If taking the bus from airport haneda to the subway closest to his-you go downstairs to the bus stop 10 and pay the driver directly, then make sure you have a map cause it is not a grid system!
The accommodation was great and cozy so if you're doing day trips out and then wanting a calm peaceful night sleep, then this place works perfectly. Thank you Sotaro!
Sotaro was very polite and helpful. I only stayed one night, but the tatami room was quite nice. The shower felt very good. Good for its proximity to Haneda Airport, though it does require a bit of a walk to get to the train station if you're not taking a taxi.
Such a great place! House and room was very clean and cute, plus the bed was comfy. Sotaro was such a great host! Very welcoming, generous and kind, warmly recommended location!
Arrived at night. Host still waiting us .. And fast reply.. Thankyou
Room is in good condition tatami style which we liked so much. However, it is far from Tokyo city centre hence a disadvantage. Host is friendly and helpful.
Soutaro is a very accommodating and nice host, when he has time he might take you around town and show you cool parts of Tokyo that you may not have known about. He rents out portable WiFi for cheap, which is a huge bonus. Room was exactly as shown, very comfy futon and clean place.
Sotaro was a great host and his accommodation was exactly what we needed on our trip. He has two rooms to rent in his house. We stayed in the slightly smaller of the two, but it was more than spacious enough for us. The beds were the roll-out Japanese style futons and were pretty comfy and there were towels and a hair dryer in the room for us. The kitchen is well equipped, the shower is excellent and although the toilet is shared as we were the only guests we had it to ourselves. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The house is 15 minutes walking distance to the nearest train station (Omori). Sotaro was even kind enough to meet with us one day in Central Tokyo and take us to a great viewpoint from where we could see some more of the city. Thanks again Sotaro!
Sotaro was very kind to us. When we had some problems on our road from the airport to his house, he waited for us patiently, although he has other plans.
The house is very well located, in a quiet residential area, but it took not much time to get to the center of Tokyo.
The room was exactly same as described on Airbnb. Relatively spacoius , as for japanese conditions.
Hihly recommanded place. Good choice!
