great place to stay great location and good price thx！
Alain was a great host, and we enjoyed our stay at his studio in mid beach Miami. Alain always responded quickly to my texts/questions. His studio was fine for our 3 night stay. We loved the location, and everything was in working order. We did not encounter any noise issues during our stay. Thanks, Alain!
The apartment was as advertised. Great location and very easy. Lockbox code worked, no problems checking in. Unfortunately the first thing I did when we got in was take the garbage out, and clean urine off of the toilet seat, despite the fact that we paid a 100$ cleaning fee. We spent a couple days with the company of fruit flies in the bathroom. The internet password we were given was incorrect but Alain was quick to respond with the correct code. Aside from that the apartment was great. Brand new coffee maker and toaster oven was nice in the mornings. Two minute walk to the beach. Overall a decent experience. There was a flat screen tv but no cable so I guess a guest could attach their computer to watch something if they wanted to but we didn't have that luxury. Bed was comfortable and air conditioner worked great.
Old apartment building, inside lobby and hallways old and outdated. Noisy neighbors at times. Located conveniently a few blocks from the beach and a short cab/uber/bicycle ride to south beach. Small apartment with a good living and kitchen area, however the bathroom could use some remodeling. 3 tiles fell off the inside shower displaying a deteriorated wall underneath. Alain was professional and quickly had it fixed the next day. Another hiccup in our stay was there was some confusion if the cleaning lady had been able to wash the towels and linen as the washer/dryer in the building was broken. Extra clean linen/towels were brought to us later in the day. Overall this place is good if you are on a budget and plan on spending most of your time out and about.
Although we never actually met, Alain was very accommodating. The apartment itself is pretty much how it was described; 3 of us stayed pretty comfortably on a bed and pull-out futon. The washer & dryer (a little confusing to use) was very handy, allowing us to pack super light (tip: we stopped into a coin-op laundromat to pick up a small box of detergent for $1.50.) Parking was a nightmare in all of South Beach so we returned the car immediately after our excursion to the Everglades and Key West. To spare the headache, we opted for Uber and the bus instead, which is not all that reliable due to construction and traffic. (Re: Buses - 'numbers' and 'letters' are the same!! but no one tells you that. For example, the '110' is the 'J'. (website hidden) Maps will display '110', but the bus will be marked with only 'J'. Very confusing.) Anyhow, the neighborhood is not amazing, yet, but the apartment is perfectly situated in the middle of Miami Beach, which makes all the interesting points in Miami highly accessible: South Beach, North Beach, Wynwood, Design District, Downtown, Aventura, etc. I also appreciated that there was a keylock and front door access code so we never had to carry the key anywhere. The wi-fi + TV with an HDMI input was perfect so I could bring my Chromecast and enjoy my K-dramas with a nice bottle of wine. But what I loved most about the apartment is that it is just 1 block from the ocean and the boardwalk. Every morning, in the radiant early morning sun rising above the Atlantic, I would go for a run down to South Beach and back. It's a pretty awesome way to start your day. (Tip: there's a nice bar around the corner called The Broken Shaker on 27th and Indian Creek Dr.)
located in a smelly building.. bad bad smell all over the building. bring your own towels because the one that you find in the studio looks not very clean.
the beach is very close and that is nice, but just that.. and Alain I must say is very nice and helpfull.
Quite practical and appropriate for my purpose (business trip). The apartment was nice and very well located, at one block from the beach. I didn't meet the host but everything was simple and well described in the itinerary, and he made sure I was ok during my stay.
Alain was very professional and detailed in his communication. The studio was as described in terms of size, location, etc. But it is in an old building that is in need of some major updating. The lobby area smells, I could hear other tenants arguing through the air vent in the bathroom. There was loud music playing late into the night from another tenant or outside the building somewhere. The unit itself is minimalistic in every way, yet adequate. But it is a victim of the age of the building, especially the bathroom where the tub resurfacing is peeling and the tile caulking/grout is in disrepair and is unsightly. For the price, it's not bad though, depending on your needs/expectations.
The apartment was ok and well located in Miami near the beach. The owner allowed late check in and check out which was useful.
However some details could be improved : add a trash in the kitchen, bathtub not so clean, very strong smell of cleaning products during the whole stay, one broken chair in the living room. There is also a big noise of air conditioning from the courtyard so bring some earplugs.
It is quite expensive considering these details.
Thank you Anne we are fixing details you mentioned here. Thanks.
Good location and easy check-in procedure.
Missed cleanliness at the bathroom as well number of towels for 03 People / 03 nights have been to less, i.e.
Thanks and have fun in Miami
