I am originally from Vancouver but have lived and worked all across Canada. My background is First Nations and my culture and history are an important part of my life. Now i spend my time running my B&B and working in my garden.
Renae is a great host. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast met our needs!
My family and I enjoyed our stay with Renae. She is both kind-hearted and determined. We feel lucky to have found her place. Thanks Renae.
This was my first experience at a BnB. Renae set the bar high! Our unit was very spacious and had its own full private bathroom! Breakfast was very nice and the home was quiet which we appreciated. In a very nice location right beside a hike trail and close to all major services.
Would gladly stay again. Thank you.
Renae welcomed us and settled us in. Salmon Arm offered up a beautiful evening, a tasty meal, Wednesday night live entertainment, ospreys and beavers. Though a little run down, the apartment offered comfortable beds, our own entrance and a wholesome breakfast. Suitable for a one night stop, I would need a lighter/ brighter, more spacious place to stay for longer.
Renae is a warm & welcoming hostess. The rooms were very spacious, spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was a selection of cereals, fresh fruit salad from Renae's garden, choice of bread and lots of lovely cakes and muffins.
We would love to have had more time to chat with Renae but we could only stay one night,
Great time at Renae's ! Such a nice lady :)
The whole family enjoyed having breakfast in the lovely garden : a very good breakfast too.
Going to the Rockies meant for us meeting people too : meeting Renae, Che and Puss was a great experience for us.
Renae made the reservation process simple and was very flexible and easy to reach when our travel plans changed at the last minute. We only needed the space for a short stopover on a long road trip but everything was as advertised and suited our group perfectly. The yard was great for our dog and kids to roam while we had a leisurely breakfast before getting back on the road.
Renae make things easy to us.She drive us from bus station to Turner Creek and return to the bus station the day we leave. The backyard is a spectacular garden where we had delicious breakfasts the three days we were there( cinamon buns, muffins etc) and an excellent coffee. The room is big and very clean with a living room. She was very kind with us and explain things about First Nations that she knows very well.Whitout any doubt,,is a very good B&B in Salmon Arm. . Very accommodating & nice area to stay!
If you travel from Alberta to Vancouver and want to spend the night, try Salmon Arm! Renae's place is conveniently located near Highway 1. Apart from a cozy bedroom you'll also get a private living room. You can also use Renae's beautiful garden while eating the great breakfast (cinnamon buns!!).
