I am an English female, born in Essex, am an photographer and artist and semi retired.
It could not be better. The apartment is great and corresponds completly to the announce. It gives complete autonomy for longuer stay. Public transportation and access to stores are very close. I love my stay, Kate and is very welcoming always there if necessary. I recommend Kate's apartement without any doubt.
Thank you Kate.
I booked this accommodation on behalf of a colleague who left the following comments: I stayed in Kate’s flat for a couple of months in early 2014. The flat was very clean, airy and cosy. An ideal location, close to Bethnal Green Underground (about a 7 min walk), there are also many supermarkets and grocery stores nearby. The kitchen is big with a great selection of pots and pans. There is no washing machine, although there is a laundrette round the corner.
The only issue I had was the shower, it’s located under the slant of the roof. You need to bend to use it.
Overall I enjoyed staying at Kate’s flat. I’d recommend the flat, especially for the excellent location links.
The apartment was great: spacious and very light. The skylights are absolutely brilliant, loved watching the sky from the bed in the morning. The bed is really comfortable and the apartment has all the necessities and more. The neighbourhood is really great, all you need is nearby. And Kate is very helpful, accommodating and responded quickly to all my questions.
Kate is such a lovely host, my parents had a very nice stay at Kate's apartment. Thank you again.
Greatly enjoyed staying here for a week in summer 2013. Flat is perfect for one person or a couple. Extremely well lit naturally, with lots of big windows to keep it cool. Very nice completely private patio with 360 degree view if you step up a small ladder. The bedroom is lovely and cozy, I slept very well. My only complaint would be the shower, which is not ideal for people my height (5-10) or larger. You'll have to bend over a bit.
The location is just a few blocks east of a very happening area with bars and restaurants, but far enough removed that the neighborhood is still peaceful. There's also a Barclay's bike share station only a 3-5 minute walk away that is reliably stocked with bikes. I was there for a week and used the bikes over 30 times. The flat is also a short walk from Brick Lane, an awesome market/shopping area with weekend festivals and great food, retail shopping, and public art.
There's also some lovely original art in the apartment that I really enjoyed.
All in all, I LOVED being here and would absolutely recommend it to almost anyone.
I am very happy that I chose to stay at Kate's apartment - the space was large, comfortable and clean - perfect for one person or a couple. Kate was a great host and was accommodating, flexible and understanding. I would certainly look to staying at Kate's again next time I'm in London!
I had an absolutely amazing time in London and staying in this flat was a big part of it. If you get the opportunity to book it, do! Kate was the perfect host, very friendly and quick to answer any questions. The flat was perfect size, very clean and light and located in a lovely neighbourhood. Super comfy bed and all the necessary amenities. Will definitely try to stay here again when I come back to London. Thank you, Kate! I loved it!
Kate was an excellent host, who provided exactly what we needed for a longer term stay.
The apartment was clean and managed to be quiet while at the same time in the heart of bustling Bethnal Green. Location and transport links are excellent.
Kate was an ideal host, present and available while leaving us feeling fully independent. The apartment exceeded our hopes, being very conveniently located, clean, and comfortable. We couldn't have been happier. Thank you, Kate!
This place is perfect! It is nice, clean, cosy and got everything you need. Well located. Stayed for three weeks while being visiting professor. It was really good as I could work in the appartment. Miss it already!
