I am Welsh speaking with a family history that can be traced back to the 15th century, and I am lucky to live in a beautiful historic home in North Wales, possessing some truly unique scenery and features.
We love animals and have horses, cats and one lovely Giant Schnauzer called Monty. Sadly we no longer can accommodate other peoples pets which is sad but necessary as we have rescued many cats and sadly some have been frightened by visitor dogs. SO NO PETS SORRY> I repeat no PETS whether they are small well behaved or hooligans so please don't consider us if you wish your beloved animal to stay.
I have a love of history and a unique connection to the British Royal Family, (all will be revealed to discerning guests over a glass of wine!) I also love to cook and am happy to cook for our guests anything within reason they would want. Both my wife and I are extremely flexible and we do try hard to make our visitors happy and their stay with us memorable.
My occupation has taken me all over the world, on many adventures and we love meeting all nationalities, who are made very welcome in our home. On some occasions I may be away on Cruise ships as I lecture on a variety of cruises. However my wife Della will give all our visitors a warm welcome.. She has a love of animals and rescues cats horses and many years ago me! She is also a very good gardener and knowledgeable on the subject. Our life motto " treat others as you would wish to be treated. "I am now semi retired but still love to travel worldwide. Antigua is one of our favourite destinations. Being a host with Air B@B has proved great as with out exception all our guests have been nice people who we have enjoyed hosting.
