Response from Bianca:
We did not expect to be robbed, but merely wanted to take care as I explained to you that one of our passports was unfortunately stolen in Milan. While it is nice to be able to trust people you are renting from who you've never met before in your life, it is realistic to understand that you might not be able to do so. Especially when there is an extended staff that comes in and out of the apartment at all times. Passports and our funds for our entire trip are just not something to leave up to chance.
As for payable items, all six of us placed money in the proper receptacle. If, by some chance, something was missing we would be happy to forward you the one euro that it cost. I'm very sorry that you took my constructive review poorly. It was meant in the best possible spirit. I was just being honest and I believe that I was actually quite nice as well. I'm offended that you would take this review as a chance to accuse us of stealing a euro from you. We had such a lovely stay in Florence and I'm really sad that you've turned our Rome stay so sour in more ways than one.
