Hey people , I am Sukanya , I live in Bangkok city, Thailand and (email hidden) to visit.
As mentioned by all other reviewers, it is hard to do justice to Loog Choob. Stylish, comfortable, exciting, clever, peaceful, restful, contemporary, etc, etc. I suppose what impressed us most were two things: (1) the attention to detail. Everything at Loog Choob has been carefully considered and it all works holistically, and (2) the generosity of spirit. The family who own it are exceptionally kind, helpful and generous, with both information and small things like complimentary water and snacks in the morning. They do all of this with grace and never make you feel as if they have heard your questions a hundred times before.
Our family stayed in the 5th floor suite (elevator available) and even though we were exhausted after 4 months of travelling and ready to go home, my wife actually wanted to stay an extra few days because she loved Loog Choob so much! Now that is a recommendation!
This really is the best accommodation in Bangkok and maybe any other major city. Beautiful, functional and creative sleeping rooms, modern and funky bathrooms.
This family run business is extremely professional and kind. They made or stay so easy and made us feel so welcome and gave us privacy.
It simply is the nicest place in Bangkok. I hope to stay again and would recommend you give this one a try.
You won't want to leave the room. This isn't a guesthouse, this is a family run top notch hotel. The facilities were incredible. Our 1 year old son was teething and so we were very glad to be staying somewhere that we could relax in comfort and let him rest. Cable tv, fast wifi, amazing oversize bath, free use of laundry facilities and (although breakfast isn't included) fresh pastries each morning. Everything is in pristine condition and the room has so much space. Anyone who's been to Bangkok knows that it can be hot, hectic and grimy, and this place is an oasis of calm in the middle of it all.
The staff were incredibly helpful and proud to demonstrate traditional Thai hospitality, down to leaving a list of common scams in your information booklet because they want to see their customers treated properly. They had great communication skills and a good knowledge of the local area.
Can't wait for another opportunity to stay here again. Would thoroughly recommend this place for anyone travelling with a family.
(email hidden)! Beautiful guesthouse, lovely rooms and incredible common spaces on the top floor and roof deck. Dut was so helpful and provided us with maps, directions written in Thai to give to taxi and tuk-tuk drivers, and suggestions for activities and daily itineraries. He also suggested the local market across the canal which was a great stop for breakfast and lunch. We felt safe and appreciated having the key-cards to get into the front entrance, elevator, and room. The only downside of this place was the location - we liked that it was not in a touristy area, but we found it hard to get taxis and tuk-tuk drivers to take us there. They often told us they didn't know where it was (even after reading the map/directions) or would ask ridiculous fares due to "traffic." Overall it was a great experience but we just wish it were slightly more easily accessible.
My wife and I stayed in this wonderful AirBnB place in BKK for one night. We had arrived from a long journey from SFO. It was hot and humid. We get to LoobChoob and were greeting by friendly staff.
Our room was amazing. Totally Zen. The architect is the son of the owner and has made the place very comfortable. Lovely huge bathroom. There is a common area which is has a kitchen that has all that is needed.
This is where we'll be staying on every visit to BKK.

Great boutique experience!! Tastefully designed, a real isolated escape in the midst of a typical smelly and smoggy neighborhood of bangkok. We just didn't want to leave the premesis!! Very much recommended!
Sukanya, her brother and her mum are warm, hospitable and helpful hosts, and my family enjoyed our stay at LooG ChooB. We stayed in the suite (for 4) as well as the individual rooms for 2, and were impressed by how beautiful, stylish and clean our rooms (and bathrooms!) were. If there are 3 or 4 of you, I strongly recommend staying in the suite, as it feels cosy and luxurious, and the living room, bathroom and little dining area/mini-kitchen are nice :)
The neighbourhood is also nice to walk around in, and there are many amenities nearby, e.g. 7-11s, ATMs, an old market with delicious noodles for breakfast and Thai sweets, as well as an outdoor fruit market. We didn't have problems getting around, although a few taxi drivers weren't too sure of the location, and we had to guide them a little. It might be good to take note of the landmarks in the area ((website hidden), temple, major roads). All in all, I'd love to stay here if I visit Bangkok again!
It's a really nice private and personal place. I can recommend it to anybody, especially to the ones who do not like the large business hotels.
The house is really well designed and beautiful, the rooms are just gorgeous. But the best are the Sukanya and her brothers as hosts.
Now some facts to our stay:
- we (2 adults & 6year old) stayed for 3 nights in the 4 persons suite.
The suite has two rooms and a seperate large bathroom. It feels like
a design-hotel apart and still very familiar.
- we mainly went to places in the old part oaround the Grand Palace, which can be easily anc cheaply reached by bus
Taxis from there (but also from Siam square) are around 100Baht
The recommended places to eat serve good, genuine local food!
LooG ChooB, the best place ever in Bangkok !
We traveled in Thailand for 12 days and stayed at Loob ChooB for 3 nights, it was the best place of our trip.
Sukanya and Yongyut are really nice and helpful.
I heartily recommend this place for your journey in Bangkok.
Amazing Place. Great staff, service and location. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bangkok.
Great guest, super recommended, very happy to know her!
