We Stayed at Tara's place for 5 nights and had such a great time!! Tara was very accommodating with any questions we had about the city and the apartment! Her place is super adorable and clean and had everything we needed. I absolutely love the neighborhood of Hillcrest! There are lots of great restaurants and shops within walking distance and its super safe. I would highly recommend staying here!
Tara's place is in a great location. We enjoyed walking around Hillcrest neighborhood, and it was also easy to get a bus to other parts of the city. We rented a car for a few days and were able to park on the street, and it was exceptionally easy to get onto the highway from her location. We also enjoyed the small garden sitting area for breakfast. On the downside, it is not recommended to stay there if you have a dog allergy or need any closet space to unpack your things. The neighbors were very noisy on one night out of five, and the walls to the other suites in the house are very thin. Otherwise, we certainly enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

What a wonderful place and great location! Tara was super helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying at her place and would definitely consider it again next time I'm in San Diego!
Tara was prompt in communication and very easy to deal with. Check in, the usually most logistically challenging part of AirBnB, was simple.
- The bed was large (a king) and comfortable
- The bathroom was clean, well stocked and had plenty of hot water
- The kitchen was tidy and functional
- The neighborhood is quaint, safe, the neighbors are quiet and parking is easy
The only thing I'd would have like is wifi, but I knew that wasn't available going into it.
I would stay here again and recommend it to others.
Tara's place was lovely, homely and clean. Had everything we needed, we especially appreciated a fully stocked kitchen. After seeing a few areas of San Diego (some which we were considering staying in) I'm glad we stayed in this area. Great Cafes.
My sister and mother stayed in Tara's place for several days, and had a great time. The location is fantastic, just a couple of blocks from the busy and diverse commercial center of the Hillcrest neighborhood. Be sure to check out Hash House A Go Go for what must be the most massive and creative breakfast benedicts ever imagined by man. One of them could feed a family of four, but you will want it all to yourself. Tara's place itself is clean and quite large for the location and price, with a big comfy bed, fully functional kitchen, bathroom with a tub, and even a small yard and front porch to bask upon! Contact with Tara was prompt and helpful, and she was kind enough to leave a bottle of wine for us when we arrived. Highly recommended!
The pictures don't do justice to just how cute this little cottage is! It's decorated beautifully and there's ample space to move around. It was a chilly weekend, but with the heat turned up and plenty of blankets it was the perfect spot to curl up on the bed and watch a movie after walking around the city all day. The cottage is situated in a great neighborhood, within walking distance to cute shops & cafes. Tara was a terrific and accommodating hostess and gave us some good tips on local places to hit up. If you're considering a stay in the city this is definitely the way to go!
