Incredible house! Beautiflly manicured landscaping, safe fencing around perimeter with locking gate, surfboards and snorkel gear, clean private pool and hot tub, native quail all around, sound of waves crashing on the nearby beach, and quaint poblano farm across the street. Perfect place to stay in Todos Santos!
Casa Pacifico is amazing. My family rented the house for my sister's wedding in January- we had a fluctuating number of guests from 4-9 and David was extremely accommodating. He made sure we had enough bedding and towels and a blow up mattress set up as well.
The house itself is gorgeous and airy. The pictures barely do it justice. The bedrooms are gorgeous and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with necessities and beyond (there is even a crock pot). It was our favorite place in Todos Santos and we almost never left. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away- however it's not a swim beach. You won't want to leave the pool anyway.
Renting a car is necessary to get to the house and around Todos Santos in general. There is a swim/surf beach a 15 minute drive away (Cerritos).
From the very beginning, working with David the owner was easy and very efficient. He was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions thoroughly through the booking process. This was especially important for me being a first time AirBNB renter.
The house itself was simply fantastic and exceeded our already very high expectations based on the photos. There were 3 large bedrooms with comfortable furniture and air conditioning if desired. It slept 6 of us very comfortably and left ample privacy for all. The common area was very conducive for socializing in the evening and the outdoor / indoor element was perfect. The stereo system transmitted music indoors and outdoors according to need and the grill area was just perfect for fresh carne asada and shrimp. There were decks upstairs as well that provided fantastic views of the sunsets and a quiet drink when desired. Regarding the kitchen, we cooked at home several times during our 5 night stay. Everything one might need for a first rate experience was provided from lime presses for margaritas to fresh drinking water to every conceivable pan and serving ware.
We had 2 kids with us and frankly, the highlight of their trip (and certainly much of the adults as well) was definitely the pool and the hot tub. Temperature control made day and nighttime swims a most relaxing experience especially with a cocktail in hand.
Todos Santos was frankly a charming town. It also greatly exceeded expectations and I strongly believe it is a hidden gem that won't stay hidden for long (somewhat to my dismay). There were many eclectic little artisanal shops coupled with fantastic restaurants serving everything from high end cuisine to incredible grilled chicken shops. In fact, one of my new favorite restaurants in the world was a little chicken restaurant called Crazy Chicken. I challenge anyone who can fix a better tasting grilled chicken in the world. :)
Close by Todos Santos, there was plenty of things to experience. From world class surfing at Cerritos beach nearby to day trips exploring the city of La Paz and hour away, we were never lacking in activities. Some more notable spots included the Beer and Art bar near Baja Beans (a popular bazaar and coffee spot for ex-pats). Beer and Art was a bar unlike no other I had been in and highly recommend to all.
All in all, I can safely speak for all 6 of us guests that we had an amazing time and I would absolutely try and rent from David again next time I visit. If I had any advice for future guests, it would be to simply bring some extra deet to keep the mosquitos off. They can be a bit intense in the evening once the sun goes down.
We had a wonderfully relaxing and fun stay at this home. We were in search of a home which had a sense of place and this home definitely delivered hands down !! The décor is beautiful and authentic and there is a very strong connection between indoors and outdoors. The grounds are well maintained, with indigenous flora and a volley ball/badminton court.
We were two families with two boys each, ranging from 3 to 8. The pool was an instant hit with all the kids and they enjoyed the pool toys that the homeowner had very thoughtfully provided.
Now, let me talk about the best thing about this home. Within three minutes walk from the home is a spectacularly beautiful beach that pretty much no one seems to know about !! Most of our evenings were spent watching sunsets on these golden sands. This beach is not safe for swimming, but the kids had a blast making sand castles and wetting their feet in the white frothy waves. (the storage room at the house had all sorts of beach toys). Also at this beach is the Turtle Conservatory where they take care of baby turtles and make sure they get safely back to the sea.
We loved walking around the quaint town of Todos Santos and checking out the local cuisine. The drive to Cabo was a little more than an hour and we drove there one day to see Land's End. At the end of each trip, this home welcomed us back with warmth and we slept peacefully, listening to the very soothing sounds of the sea. I'm ready to go back !!
Let me start off by saying that this house is amazing. We were two families with three kids in total (4-8 years old) and we had plenty of room. Kudos to whoever designed the house. The downstairs area around the kitchen completely opens up to offer a pleasant, airy, indoor-outdoor atmosphere. The living room is open but slightly away from the kitchen area, so you get a bit of separation without it feeling closed off. The whole lower floor wraps around the patio and pool area, making all the public areas feel perfectly connected. And the bedrooms offer privacy when you want to get away from it all. The furnishings and art are beautiful. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen, which isn’t in the photos, is really nice. It’s well equipped with utensils, concrete countertops, a big sink, a decent stove. We cooked there a lot and really enjoyed it.
The house itself is away from town, which is a good thing. It has a rural vibe, but is nearby other houses, so it doesn’t feel isolated. Todos Santos is a nice little town with restaurants and bars (and a tasty palleteria). There is a small market and a cafe down the road from the house. But honestly, we rarely felt compelled to leave the house! The best restaurant we found was Hierbabuena which is in Pescadero, one town south of Todos Santos. Definitely worth a visit.
The beach is just a short walk away. If the surf is up at all, then you can’t swim there. But it’s a beautiful long beach, suitable for walking and sunbathing. Cerritos beach, which is about 15min south by car has a relatively calm beach break that’s perfect for kids and suitable for surfing as well as playing in the waves. We enjoyed having an excuse to get out of the house and have a beach day.
We stayed during the summer heat, so we really appreciated the pool, which looks a bit small in the photos, but turned out to be the perfect size for us, even with seven people splashing around. The bedrooms have A/C, which is a life saver during the hot nights. The second floor has a big deck where you can listen to the waves pounding the shore, feel the cool breeze while you sip an icy margarita and watch the sun set over the sea. That's what Mexico is all about!
The reservation was canceled 100 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The house in Todos Santos is beautiful!! It's very tastefully appointed /equipped in local style and has everything you could need to have a wonderful relaxing stay. You can see and hear the ocean from the house. Marvelous sunsets, soooo nice. Plenty of room. A jacuzzi to soak in and the pool to dip in and cool off. All kinds of birds flying in and out. Butterflies too. My only complaint is I didn't have enough people to share the house with!!! Next time!
Highly recommend staying at Casa Pacifico while in Baja Sur. The property is a 5-10 minute drive outside of Todos Santos and about an hour from Los Cabos. Todos Santos is a "magical" town and is ideal for making home base when exploring Baja Sur because it offers something for everyone.
Once we arrived, we immediately knew we were where we wanted to be. It is a very special place. The property location is perfect and private with a beautiful and pristine beach a short walk away. The house is comfortable, clean, decorated nicely, modern, and very easy to make home during your stay. One of the property owners is a local painter and his works are awesome and can be found hanging on the walls. The landscaping, pool, and jacuzzi is tops. Every evening you can see a spectacular sunset from the second floor patio. We were able to bring our small dog [very cool], and our hosts put up a temporary fence for convenience which was super! Workers do come by briefly to check on the property to maintain garden, pool, garbage pick-up, etc. Everyone was super nice and non-intrusive. We appreciated the maintenance as it just added to the experience and ambiance the property owners love and care about this place and are totally on it to make sure it is always lovely.
We were able to truly relax and enjoy the simple and beautiful life - a true vacation!
Fantastic beach villa with privacy but also close to the cute town of Todos Santos. Great place to stargaze at night but also surf during the day. Plus, David really takes care of the place. A great setup for a relaxing vacation.
This house is pretty much perfect. Three large bedrooms with full baths. Big living room. About 200 yards to the beach; listen to the waves crash all night! Lots and lots of room inside and out to relax and play. Sand volley ball court. Easy drive to town, or the walk is pretty reasonable too. Todos Santos is a great town with great restaurants and art. La Esquina is a nice cafe near the house with great sandwiches, coffee and a juice bar. There is a shuttle that goes directly between the airport and Todos Santos about 4 times a day which is a really easy way to get friends back and forth to the house ((email hidden)).
