Chris and I moved here five years ago from Montana and we love this quirky little town. This is the first time we have ever lived in town and it is so much fun to walk to coffeeshops to meet friends or go to events in the evenings. There are lots of great places to explore in the area. And lots of trails to be hiked in the Gila. And lots of sunshine. And great restaurants in town--though we usually eat at home.
I have been a potter, a papermaker, and a printmaker. Currently I am working part time at Aldo Leopold High School--the local charter school. I teach a journalism class there and coordinate the school volunteers and am now coordinating the backpack trips among other things.
Chris is a retired house builder/woodworker/chairmaker who still occasionally builds cabinets.
