Born and raised in Queens, New York. I am an actress and I enjoy meeting and exploring different people and places, maybe your place will be my next stop or mine yours!!
I stayed at Nzingtha's place ( twice! ) this summer, and found the overall experience to be very enjoyable. Being in NYC in the middle of the summer heat wave, I was very fortunate to have Nzingtha's air-conditioned apt. to stay in ! The room is very clean and modern, and there's even a doorman and a laundry downstairs, and literally 10 mins walk ( across morningside park ) to Columbia, which is where I have to be everyday this summer. Around the corner, there's a supermarket and great restaurants. The rate of the apt. is extremely good, so all in all, a very good stay.
My only complaint would be the air-conditioning noise . Please bear in mind that I do have Aspergers ( and thus heightened hearing ), so this might not affect everyone -- my brother who shared the room with me for a night had no such complaint. This being a very new building, there is a centralized air-conditioning unit in the courtyard. This is quite loud for me, although I did manage to over-come it with ear plugs.
All in all, a very good experience. I was even thinking of renting from the management a similar apartment in this building for a one-year lease for my up-coming studies at Columbia !
Nzingtha was a wonderful guest. Very considerate and left the place just as she found it. I would welcome her back any time.
Nzingtha was a joyful, positive soul and it was our pleasure to host her and her friends. They were tidy, interested in having as good a time as possible in Salvador, and took good care of our penthouse. Even a horrendous toothache during the entire stay couldn't stay her enthusiasm. A lovely lady we'd be happy to recommend to anyone as the perfect guest.
