I love this life *
Rafaelle was a fantastic host who provided everything I needed for a relaxing stay in Montreal. Her big, beautiful loft is exactly as advertised, with great lighting and plenty of room up lounge.
We had a nice stay at Rafaelle's loft. What the pictures fails to show is that this is actually a very spacious place. The building is a bit old with hardwood floors that might be a problem if you're a light sleeper since you hear people steps passing by. The neighborhood is quiet with lots of places to eat a few blocks away. The place is a distance from downtown or old Montreal
(25-35 min by bus). If you want to be near the action or have a short time to spend in Montreal this place might not be for you. If you want to spend time feeling like a local then you'll feel right at home. The closest metro station is Rosemont and you will need to walk thru a small field with a narrow dirt pathway with no lights to get to the loft. This can be a little intimidating if you're a girl traveling alone. The other thing was the stove was not working when we stayed here but again, I wasn't planning on cooking during my holiday. If you are, then it might be a good idea to make sure the stove is working before booking. Wifi was fast. The street St viater has lots of clothing shops, pubs and great eats. A young (25-35 yr old age range) neighborhood with lots of energy. Otherwise, we had a nice stay and really felt like a local staying at the loft.

This was my first Airbnb experience and I have to say, it was perfect! While we did not meet Rafaelle, she was very accommodating of our odd arrival/departure times- we arrived very early (6:30am) and left late on a Monday - and gave us all the directions we needed to get to the loft easily.
The loft was very spacious, comfortable, and clean! And it was close to the metro/buses and a short walk away from main streets with bars/shops/restaurants. We were able to navigate all of Montreal easily!
We loved Montreal and will certainly stay here on our next visit!
The loft was amazing and located close to the metro and several stores and cafes. It was clean and had a really cool vibe ! It was very easy to arrange everything with Rafaelle and would recommend this loft to anyone I knew travelling to Montreal. Some great cafes are located west(towards ave de parc) saq is on ave de parc as well (liquor store) parking is free after 6 on Fridays till Monday on surrounding streets. Great place!
Si vous aimez le Mile end, et que vous avez besoin d'être inspirés.
If you want to be close to all the fun stuff in Montreal but love sleeping in late instead of being woken up by bright sunlight or street noise, this is the place for you.
This was our first Airbnb experience, so I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect, but it was absolutely lovely. We stayed at Rafaelle’s loft for 10 days in early June, which I gather is slightly longer than most Airbnb stays, but Rafaelle was very accommodating. She was easy to deal with, responded to email quickly and was flexible with our schedule for move in & out. I met Rafaelle briefly to pick up the keys in between sessions of the conference I was attending, and she was really friendly.
Rafaelle’s loft is spacious, comfortable and relaxing. The pictures give an idea of what it actually looks like, but don’t really do it justice – the snapshots can’t capture the spaciousness of the loft and Rafaelle had gotten it way tidier than what you see in picture 4. We loved the beautiful wood floors, the big windows looking onto a green space and the fact that the bedroom is tucked away from the window and super dark (perfect for people like us who love sleeping in but are sensitive to sunlight). The bed was very comfortable and Rafaelle had a tower fan that was really useful on the hottest nights.
On rainy days, we stayed in enjoying the view and Rafaelle’s book collection. On sunny days, we explored the Mile End neighbourhood on foot or hopped on a Bixi (there were several bike-share stations within a 5-minute walk from Rafaelle’s apartment) and the rest of the city was within easy reach.
If you like to sleep in past 7:45am, make sure to bring earplugs. The bedroom shares a wall with the building hallway and the beautiful wood floor is continuous, which means that the sound of neighbours leaving for work in the morning travels well.

We had a lovely stay in Rafaelle's loft. Even though we had tricky logistics (a late arrival, early departure), Rafaelle was very accommodating and in touch frequently. When unexpected problems came up (not anything she could have foreseen or prevented!) she was so helpful and kind. Also, the pictures don't show it, but the loft is very large! The place felt airy and light, even on the rainy, cold days we spent there.
Stayed at this loft for 4 days. It was cheaper than a hotel and in a very good location. A walk away from st Laurent. It's definitely worth the price.
Rafaelle was very helpful and has an awesome place. The only thing I had a problem with was the footsteps that could be heard between floors. It is an older building so you have to understand that. 9/10 from me and my girlfriend.
