Hello Annette, Thanks for the kind words about our home. We take pride in providing a warm and inviting place for our guests to enjoy the space just as much as we do. I do take each review personally and would like to improve on anything we may have left out. Although we've been hosting for a long time, there certainly are always room for improvement, so thanks for noting a few things.
Firstly; the door code is in a central-secure place for your eyes only as the booking party. The documentation I sent states "You can see all the house documentation here . . . the door code is available 2 weeks prior to your stay date. Simply come back to this link to access all the information anytime." I think maybe you mis-read this. I did text it to you once you asked for it. The stool in question was replaced the next day, thanks for alerting me on your departure of this and sorry it broke on your party. I made sure all the others were not 'wobbly' as you mentioned. As far as me being not 'welcoming', I suppose your text messages could be portrayed as neither positive or negative. Sorry, perhaps a phone call would have been best for you. Lastly, we did check each and every towel and saw none that had a hole in it. We have the colored towels out for the guests and then a bunch of fresh white towels under each sink for backups. I'm guessing you didn't like our colored towels? I don't have the huge pool towels from the Four Seasons, but ours are clean and functional and plenty of them. Anyway, for the record - we don't put out a bottle of wine for each guest checking in, That is as now noted.
