I'm from Italy, from La Spezia. I've been working abroad in the last years. I'm married and have two wonderful kids. We all like travelling, as we actually do every day...

Appartement très propre, décoré avec goût et bien conforme à la description, très bien placé par rapport à la gare, l'hôte est très sympa et répond très vite aux messages.
Great appartment in La Spezia near city center and train station, perfect if you want to visit the Cinque Terre and Portovenere. Very easy key handover and excellent communication with Laura even if we could not meet as they live abroad. Great kids bedroom if you have children with you. perfect tips for going out. Overall, best possible airbnb experience. We'd love to come back !
Absolutely wonderful apartment. Myself, husband and two boys felt at home in the spacious, modern, well equipped apartment. The boys adored the children's room with all the toys in abundance! Didn't see them for hours on our first day of arrival. We were welcomed and shown all the necessary bits and bobs. Good information sheets provided. Felt like a home! We will definitely return! Great access to La Spezia centre on foot and minutes away from station. Did not need a car at all!
The apartment is really nice and very close to the railway station. Basically you just need to cross a single street and walk around a corner to get there from La Spezia central station. So if you are planning to explore the cinque terre area by train this is your spot! The apartment is very spacious and in a very nice condition. Our little daughter loved her own room with all the toys! La Spezia is not a typical tourist spot but you can find some nice places for sure. There is a long shopping road and a really nice market where you can buy everything you need for a fresh and tasty meal. The port area is quite nice too. Parking can be a little challenge but nothing to worry about. There are plenty spots (blue lines) for paid parking. The costs may vary. Around the apartment you will pay 1.50€/h from 8-20. But if you cross Via Milano it's only 0.75€/h. Near the military area (10-15min walk) you will also find spots for 0.50€/h and even a free parking are (Park Piazza D'Armi). The communication with the hosts was very friendly and fast. I'd go there again!
We have had a superb stay at Gabriele and Laura's place. Both were very responsive to emails and very friendly.
Appartment is very well placed and is even better than it is on the pictures.
We will definitely stay there another time.
Convenient location - just steps from the La Spezia train station. The apartment was very spacious and with more than adequate room for our family.
Gabriele was a terrific and gracious hostess, with an excellent response time!
we just came back from La Spezia , we stayed at this BNB, The host Laura, was quick in response, clear and easy to communicate with.
we liked the apartment , it is clean, comfortable and close to everything , also not a loud area you you can sleep well. our 2 kids had plenty of space in their room and toys to play with , the area has a bakery, a close supermarket and close to the market and main street, close to the harbour and train station to visit 5 Terre.
I would say everything is positive. well it is a personal choice, even though there are plenty of car park places around the apartment, we did not feel comfortably to just park in the street to we placed our car in the secure park inside and very very near to the apartment it is so convenient but comes with a price .
we didn't need the car much there so I recommend getting there with public transport.
I thank again our host and definitely will recommend it to our friends and family.
We had a recent 4 night stay in this accommodation. We were given a very narrow window of time to check in (which we were aware of when we booked). We had informed the host that we would be arriving by hire car and were concerned about the parking restrictions and drop off of luggage. When we arrived, there was nowhere on the street to park legally and there was nobody there to meet us at the arranged time. The host had tried to contact me during the day however I didn't receive the messages. Regardless of the breakdown in technology, we didn't expect to arrive within the allocated time and have nobody there to meet us with the added stress of not being able to park and needing to have our hire car back within an hour after our arrival. Overall, we found the arrival process to be VERY stressful! When we entered the apartment, we found it to be spotlessly clean, very spacious and fantastic location. The kitchen was very well equipped and WiFi perfect. It was less than 5 mins walk to La Spezia Centrale train station (to get train to Cinque Terre and other major locations), short walk to local shops, cafés & restaurants (shop here instead of Florence as the prices are more reasonable) and within walking distance to the bus stop for Portovenere. We would recommend this accommodation for people arriving by public transport, taxi or with limited baggage who don't mind trying to find a safe and secure carpark then walking back with their luggage.
The lovely apartment is in a great location close to the train station. It made a fantastic base for us to explore the Cinque Terre.
Gabriele and his family left the apartment clean and in order. Communication was very good. I can only reccomend this nice family!
Gabriele and his lovely family are most pleasant guests, very friendly and careful with everything as if it were their own. They left the apartment in perfect state and with lots of charming compliments about Alpcharme.
We are very happy that Gabriele and his family discovered a new area of Switzerland which they enjoyed so much.
We would be most happy to welcome them any time again.
Gabrielle was a great guest - I hope she enjoyed her stay. Thanks for booking with us!
