Stanford Alum, Techie computer consultant, Not home much. Usually working or out with friends. I don't cook at all so the huge kitchen is available. Like the hardwood floors in the living room? I do. I enjoy biking, basketball, and chess.

I stayed at Jonathan's for 2.5 months, because I did an internship in Palo Alto. I really enjoyed the time in Silicon Valley.
Jonathan was a great host! He offered me a bike and borrowed me a cell charger, because mine did not work. He also showed me places around town, like a laundry, where I can let my clothes get washed and the best grocery stores.
I felt really comfortable staying at Jonathan's and I would recommend it to everyone!
I enjoyed staying at Jonathan's place.
I had a nice room with sun in the morning, with a large desk, a second monitor, a large cupboard, a comfortable bed; also, Jonathan provided a bike that I could use to bike to work. Perfect!
Jonathan is a great host. He cares a lot whether his guests feel well and is very helpful (for instance he would help me with my crashed laptop). We would always have a nice chat and once went to a Burger place together.
The surroundings of the place are ok, too; there are a lot of stores not far away, there are beautiful places to run nearby at shoreline, near Google campus. The only thing is that I was not 100% sure that I can keep my valuables at home during the day since doors and windows are not strong and I was not sure about the neighbourhood. Fortunately, we never had problems.
I would certainly select this place, again. Thank you, Jonathan!
Jon's place is great. It is well priced for the area and in a great location. The walls are a bit bare, but that didn't bother me because I was out exploring the area most of the time anyway. Jon is a great host and quick to respond to issues. You may not see him much though. Overall, a great stay.
I didn't get to see Jonathan during my stay, but the apartment was well kept and really clean. The furniture set up is ever changing, so if you want something specific, may be worth while to ask
Jonathan was a great host. Apartment was conveniently located near the 101 and within walking distance to some small restaurants. Room is spacious, but a bit sparse, although since I was in town to work with some collaborators it was fine since I was out most of the time. Plenty of parking.
Jonathan was a great host! He was right there when I needed him on my first day to learn about the place, he showed me everything and was very helpful. The apartment has all of the basics, is very large and quiet, and was the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate as I got acquainted the area. The location is ideal to a few shops and restaurants, easy access to the 101 and also to a great trail that leads north to the Shoreline park area. I would highly recommend for someone who needs a place to stay for a short or longer time.
Jonathan is a wonderful host. Not only he got me the keys when I changed my plans and arrived in the morning instead of afternoon, he bought and brought me an iron in about 15 minutes after I gave him a call asking for one! That's the hospitality and commitment that you do not see every day. Thank you Jonathan!
Excellent location if you need to be near 101 or the campus to the north. Surprisingly many things within walking distance: convenience store, excellent taqueria, bar, fast food, minutes away on foot, fresh and easy, even more restaurants, a few minutes more.
I liked the room, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice and clean. The space heater was great for the unexpected winter colds.
Jonathan was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. (Even provided an external monitor I could use with my laptop, and a bicycle to get around!) It was a pleasure.
I enjoyed the stay very much, as it was exactly that kind of place what I was looking for: clean, quiet, nice neighbourhood (recreational park nearby, supermarket and all kinds of shops too) and with Jonathan a very helpful and friendly landlord as well.
The first day, Jonathan was so kind, despite his long working hours, to take the time and show me the facilities and guide me through the neighbourhood. As I was working at Stanford University and it is about 40 Minutes by bike it really was a benefit that there are two bikes one could use. The only downside for me was, that the place is not very light, as there are not so many windows.
A very good environment if you're looking for a place during a long-term working stay.
