Hey, I'm Cameron!
Rockingham, Western Australia, Australia · Member since July 2012

I am a 26 year old Australian chap who was bitten by the travel bug about 5 years ago. From then it has just been fairly non-stop. I lived in the United Kingdom for 2 and a half years and upon realising that I could live in Canada, I moved there for another year and a half. I had a blast and intend on moving back there as soon as I can!

As for hobbies I try and play guitar but I'm probably my harshest critic. I also adore watching people playing music. There's something about a group of people gathering for a single, joyous purpose. I used to read quite voraciously but when I started travelling the only literature I'd tend to read would be airport paperbacks. You know those sort.

I'm a vegetarian and have been for about 6 years. Hooboy. I do it for the moral reasons but I never really loved meat. Hasn't ever been a problem for me on my travels and I kind of like the challenge of finding something I can eat. Cheese is my weakness. Oh my. I love cheese.

Music? Well I enjoy all kinds of music but I wouldn't necessarily claim that I would listen to it again. I really do enjoy a lot of English rock music. Y'know, The Beatles, Elvis Costello, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones. Recently I've been getting a real kick out of country music. That's Nashville for you!

I'm fairly tidy and quiet. Any music I listen to, I tend to have earphones in. I had to be tidy when I was living in England as the landlord lived next door and would often pop in for a cup of tea and comment if the place was untidy! I also take fairly short showers and put items back where I found them!

I loved travelling the United States. I've been to about 12 states so far and I'd like to improve on that when I visit next. The two jewels of my heart in North America are Nashville in Tennessee and Montreal in Quebec. Montreal was just amazing. The culture, the people, the food and drink. Delicious. I have just fallen in love with Tennessee. I've seen a lot of Tennessee but can't wait to see more!

Well I hope this gives you a fairly good overview of what I'm like! If you need any more questions answered, feel free to shoot me a message!

Cheers!

Cameron.
