It was great staying here. Francesco was such a great and very nice host, very helpful as well. The apartment is great as well. Much space, a perfect location in NYC and with a very nice vibe. I can definitely recommend this to anyone!
As always Francesco was a model host. He was responsive and flexible with the event that we threw, and willing to accommodate all of our needs. The Airbnb team hosted two events in Francesco's loft and loved spending time with him. He is warm-hearted, and brings a ton of positive energy to the room.
The loft is very NYC, with an amazing view of the skyline and sunsets over the Hudson. It's amazing for events and truly made ours special.
I'd like to give a big shout out of thanks to Francesco, who graciously offered his place to help during the Hurricane Sandy aftermath. Although the "Detroit Dog Rescue" organization never had the opportunity to stay at his place, he offered the staff a place to stay during their time in NY. Many thanks for your generous offer during a time when it was very difficult to find lodging for volunteers.
Francesco's loft is an incredible gem in NYC that is rare to come by! It's spacious and unique with incredible light and views of the city and the Hudson – just wait for the sunsets! It's accessible to plenty of solid transit options and within walking distance to many major sights in NYC. And Francesco is an amazing host – warm, hospitable, and genuine. We stayed in the loft for a week while working in NYC, and each one of us misses it terribly. Stay here!
We arrived in the loft and were amazed by the space and encredible view of NY city, it was a relief after the bad comment of our former guest. The noise was as you can expect from New York, but noting more. If you are looking for a huge NY loft this is the place to go. Francesco is a very nice guy who welcomed us in a great way, and after our arrival was always helpful.
Very disapointing stay in this loft. The flat is very photogenic but not
practical if you are travelling for a short term period in New York
especially mixing pleasure and business.
The value for money given the price charged for this flat is not worth
what you can get in NYC in much trendier areas with service
Kitchen was not very well cleaned. Especially fridge that was full of foof
and not clean. Cupbards and cuttery had to be washed again before use.
There is no dishwasher which you would expect . Note there this absolutely
no blind in the flat and no double glazing. The bedroom does not have a
ceiling either which is letting the light through. The flat noise level is
extremely loud. The noise is as is you had the highway in your living room
which calms down only about 2-3 am every night. So definitely not a
relaxing place. The area is located ok centrally but the neighborhood is
not really charming for NYC compared to Tribeca, Soho or upper east or
west side. It is under development.
We decided to leave the flat after 2 nights although booked for a week
conditional to the host finding a replacement for us that same week and
getting a refund of unused nights. Once a replacement ( ie 1h after we
informed we wanted to see how we could agree a way out that would benefit
every one) the host never agreed to reimburse the amount for unsused
A VOW TO WOW
The 'WOW' factor begins from the minute you make contact with the Loft's gracious host, continues every time you set foot into this spectacular loft and lasts way past the departure date: My request was accepted 10 minutes after I submitted it (for arrival the following day - despite issues with my bank - which were subsequently cleared up,) the host was waiting for me in person when I arrived and the apartment was, to put it simply - nothing short of spectacular.
BIGGER IS BETTER
The size of a spacious New York restaurant, or a large specialty store, the loft takes the concept of space to a completely different level - making a Presidential Suite at a luxury hotel seem tiny in comparison. Perfect for entertaining, ideal for business meetings, photo shoots, etc, this loft leaves you with the conviction that SIZE DOES MATTER!
Exuding style, exhibiting drama and defining cool, the loft is, at once, comfortable, cozy and homey. What makes the loft truly unique, is the juxtaposition of apparent contradictions: Large yet cozy, dramatic yet simple, high tech but low maintenance.
THE FINAL SCORE: A
THE LAST WORDS: Rent it without a second thought!
We had a lovely time at Francesco's. The flat is gorgious, full of light with a nice view, in a typical NY loft style. We stayed with our two kids and they loved it. The location is convenient, walking distance to Broadway, 7th, 8th and 9th ave. Francesco was very helpful and friendly and we warmly recommand his flat.
Amazing space. Francesco was a great host! I was there for work and when the internet went down he came over personally to fix it. The loft is as it is from the pictures...i was in nyc for a long time and this was a great location and loft
The aprtment is just as in the pictures. Actually, the pictures do not do it justice!! It is larger than it seems in the pictures. It has all appliances except an Washer / Dryer, which is located in the building on a lower floor. The towels which were provided, were as soft as can be.
We were delayed by 2 hours and Francesco was waiting for us at the apt when we reached. This being New York even this aprtment on the 11th Floor can get a little noisy, especially on weekends. But thats fine. The location is good. A 10-15 minute walk from Times Square. There are a bunch of Restaurants just a block away.
Overall, a great experience.
I have known Francesco for almost twenty years. He is a thoughtful, gentle and professional person.
Best of all, I have met my wife through him and, ten years later, I still can't thank him enough.
Oh, his apartment is great as well!
I live in Italy and I love Francesco's place . Well i could tell you to many amazing memories but i let yourself to discover it !
i can only say that when the sun go down on Hudson River the streets are already dark , last touch of light comes in from East , then all the Skycrap start to wear their fantastic dresses full of lights, so the 5 windows 3 meter by 3 meter like a giant televison open their eyes on New York city...wowwwu you are so touched you don t want even light a bulb inside the space and you just light a candel . Minimal but not to minimal , design but not too design ....i love that place . Francesco is a very warm person and his place is a mirror of his energy. Go on my website (website hidden) click on the section "click travel " then click 5 times and you have a picture of the view .A week in NY is always a must before heading for the Caraibi Island .5+
Francesco is a wonderful person and this is reflected in his beautiful living space. His apartment offers an amazing view of the New York City skyline and the Hudson River, along with lots of space and modern amenities to enjoy it with. The embience of the space is refreshingly versatile, ranging from sunny to sultry in the course of a day. It's clean, cozy, clutter-free, and very chique. A great space for business or pleasure. Put simply - it's perfect!
