I am an a professor of voice and music theatre, as well as a performer of music theatre, opera, and concerts ranging from classical to jazz. I'm also trying to expand my performing career into the NYC area. I'm married, and my husband is an artist and teaches at the same college. We love to travel, especially beaches, Europe, and cultural cities.
We love our work, and I have a great relationship with my former students. My husband has a son, whom I "inherited" at age 30. We have 3 grandchildren-so I have the fun of that without having had the responsibility of having my own child.
Probably way more info than you need.
You will find me to be a very responsible and agreeable person. I've stayed in NYC twice using airbnb, and I had great hosts.
Full disclosure: I booked a room last March, but the host gave me very misleading and distressing information about the room on the day I was to arrive. Although he texted me that it was ok to cancel, he made a complaint to airbnb - which was resolved in my favor.
