Hello, I am enjoying the life in Burgundy (France) - the wine, the golf and the countryside.

This is a comfortable and well equipped little house: nice towel warmers in the bathrooms, easy-to-work dishwasher and washer-drier, big fridge. Very private. The hosts Tobias and Marco couldn't be more hospitable. Even my dog was made right at home with water bowl and rawhide bone. The hotel is charming and unpretentious. Marco is a seriously talented chef. I never cooked a meal in the kitchen.
This Charming Castle is a perfect place to rest and to enjoy the peaceful environment. The rooms are really nice in every details, the sight from the window of our room was wonderfull. Tobias and Marco, our hosts, were really attentive, and the meals, cooked by Marko were so delicious. For sure we will come back as we already miss this place !
From the moment we arrived we knew we'd found the perfect place for our stay in Burgundy. Marco and Tobias were very welcoming. Marco in particular was helpful with recommending local Burgundy area eateries and wine tasting. The fact that it was a 45min drive from Beaune actually worked out to be great. Driving through the countryside was stunning (and fun for my partner), plus it was out of the more touristy Burgundy valley.
Our last evening at Les Roches we had dinner in the dining room and Marco cooked up a feast - we really enjoyed the menu and out vegan friends were also amazingly catered for and really enjoyed the experience.
Booking wise, it was easy and pleasant. I did have to make a change to the booking and Tobias was extremely understanding and helpful - so it was an all round great experience. Now I can wait to visit the area again, but for longer next time!
This is one of the most romantic places you can probably imagine. Located in the midst of the Burgundy area, up on a hill only reachable through curvy and narrow roads, you'll find this gem of a house.
Tobias, Marco and the entire staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The entire place is absolutely clean and lovely decorated. The hotel (I'd almost call it so) features a dining room, library and lounge. Every room is decorated differently and offers a great view.
The breakfast is terrific. It includes freshly made croissants and pains au chocolat, and fresh orange juice. Dining at Les Roches is also possible and definitely worth it.
As for the area, Tobias and Marco will offer you tips on where to go and what to see. But honestly, you could also spend a day in Mont Saint-Michel and take a walk, read in the secret garden located behind Les Roches, and play with the resident cat.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Les Roches. Tobias and Marcus were very hospitable and the residence is extremely well appointed and situated in a very pretty village. Highly recommended. Anna
This is the best listing I've found in the Airbnb community (I've stayed at many; I work for the company). The chateau is beautiful, our room was clean and comfortable, the food is fantastic, and the town surrounding Les Roches is quiet and medieval. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
We loved the atmosphere, the decor, the service, the garden and in particular, the attention given by our hosts and the staff to making our stay an enjoyable one.
Lovely accomodation in a beautiful location. Great food and helpful staff who speak English.
Our stay at Les Roches was so wonderful we're a little lost for words but will give it a go.
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a warm smile as soon as we pulled up.
Our experience at Les Roches was so magical, from the wonderful staff to the picturesque view, incredible food and stunning decor.
Tobias and Marco are so calm and helpful it radiates through their staff who were always there with above and beyond service I have not seen even in some of the best five star hotels.
The view from our balcony was so breathtaking we wanted to spend every moment out there!
If you stay at Les Roches we highly recommend the "Enchanting View" room.
On our first night we dined at the Michelin Star restaurant downstairs which was so incredible we had to dine there every night of our stay even though another local restaurant was also recommended.
Before our meal we were seated in the lounge where we were served aperitif's and really enjoyed meeting the other guests and hearing about their travels.
The two couples we met seemed equally impressed with Les Roches and it was one of the highlights of our experience.
We took a walk through the town of Mont Saint Jean which is a must see for it's old world French country charm.
Also a must see is the vineyard of Chateau de Pommard and the town of Beaune.
Our only issue was with our GPS on our way from Paris when it wouldn't allow us to locate the destination.
But if you navigate to Dijon and try inputting the destination again when you get closer it seemed to work better for us, although it may have been simply an issue with our GPS.
Everything about Les Roches has been so perfectly combined we cannot recommend it highly enough.
Tobias and the entire staff were absolutely wonderful to us after a difficult few days of travel. The pictures were amazing and of course upon arriving the place surpassed our already high expectations! Beautiful chateau out of a storybook immaculately decorated, 5 star service, a Michelin rated restaurant downstairs which was the best meal of our trip by far, and really enjoyed the overall experience. We cannot recommend this place enough! If you want to learn about wine and explore the wineries with an experienced driver, use Yuri (Tobias recommended him).
