David and Sean are like the family you always want to visit - welcoming, all the comforts of home and the space to be yourself. It's a little piece of paradise in Brooklyn.
David and Sean are great hosts. Perfect apartment in a wonderful location. The only place I want to stay when in NYC.
This is such an incredible place. Incredibly welcoming and hospitable host. Comfortable and spacious apartment with such great amenities. Quick walk to the train station and plenty of great places cafes, shops, restaurants and such nearby. If you're looking for that great experience, this is the spot for you.
I stayed in David’s apartment for 2 weeks with my 21 y.o. son. It truly is an excellent apartment. Actually it’s more than an apartment, it’s obviously a much loved home and it was a pleasure to stay there.
Apart from being well-maintained and very clean, it is spacious, tastefully furnished and comes with all the facilities you need to feel at home.
You reach the apartment up 2 flights of easy stairs, and being on the top floor means you get lots of natural light and air. Another advantage to this is that there is little or no noise from neighbours which can often be a problem in NYC apartments situated on lower floors. You also have access to a very nice roof top area to relax and enjoy the open air.
The location is great, close to everything that Williamsburg has to offer (and that’s a lot!). I no longer stay in Manhattan when I go to NYC. I now stay in Williamsburg because it’s got so much going on and yet it has a relaxed feel to it ….. plus Manhattan is only one stop away on the subway.
The L line of the subway is a short walk away from the apartment and if you synchronise leaving the apartment with the arrival of the train you can get from the apartment to 14th St/Union Square in about 10 minutes.
It was so good to be able to make a snap decision to go into Manhattan for drinks or dinner and know that the East Village, Greenwich Village, West Village, Soho etc are so easily reached.
David was great to deal with, prompt with communication and helpful. Everything was well organised and as agreed.
Read the other reviews and you’ll see they echo my comments - great city, great apartment, great location, great host.
We had an incredible stay at Sean and David's home. The home is right in the center of Williamsburg, with tons of great food, cafes, a couple movie theaters, and easy access into the city! Sean and David were very accommodating and also helpful (with great communication). The apartment itself is huge by New York standards and beautifully decorated. There is loads of privacy and space, also very clean and minimal feeling. We appreciated them allowing our dog child. We hope to be back again one day! Thank you both!
Just like being at home - all the comforts you need in a beautifully appointed apartment. And great restaurants and services you need all within a few blocks. David was a great host - providing loads of helpful advice about the local area. Will be sure to stay here again!
David was a lovely host. He was very thoughtful and accommodating to all our needs while at the apartment.
The location is perfect, walkable to all the great restaurants and easy to get around on the subway. The apartment is super cozy and very easy to live in.
We will definitely stay here on our next visit to nyc!
David's home is absolutely beautiful-- a sophisticated mid-century designed haven in the midst of a super-hip Brooklyn neighborhood. The accommodations were just lovely and David was a gracious host--communicative, flexible and generous. My friends and I had a splendid long-weekend and would return there as often as possible.
The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and clean. The location in Williamsburg is ideal and the neighborhood is awesome in the middle of restaurants, bars, and great shops. David is a great host. He was responsive and accommodating in the reservation process and he left a bottle of wine, coffee, and other necessities for a very pleasant stay. We will return to David's apartment on our next trip to New York.
We were looking forward to staying here but a last minute change of plans meant we had to cancel. Definitely on our next trip to NYC.
