Simply a wonderful and central location for anyone interested in seeing Annapolis by foot. The hosts and family are so considerate and friendly with a very roomy and clean area downstairs that you will feel right at home while staying here. Will definitely put this back as my #1 favorite for when I return next year!
This was my first Air B&B experience and it was great. My girlfriend and I both loved the place and it was in a really convenient and wonderful location. Very clean and cozy. All around nice place to stay. Would recommend it to friends and family.
Ideally located, spacious, impeccably clean, sophisticated decor, easy in and out. Our hosts were friendly, unimposing, and flexible.
D & K's Annapolis accommodations are top notch. I've been an Air BnB host for over 3 years and this was my first experience as an Air BnB guest. D & K's place is a perfect location for exploring Annapolis. We saw a show at the awesome Ram's Head and we were able to walk 3 short blocks to & from the venue. The house is also close to great restaurants, shopping and other attractions in lovely Annapolis. This was my 1st visit to MD's state capitol. Plenty to see & do in this great town. and it's all easy to get to from D & K's.
The accommodations were quite comfortable. The downstairs apt. provided privacy and was spacious. We had a great nights sleep in the queen size bed. I was able to catch the 2nd half of the MNF game on the large flat screen TV.
Dan provided us with a parking pass for the lot which was just down the street. The room is clean & nicely furnished. great hosts who are welcome to visit me here in Atlantic City anytime. Bring the kids!
Best wishes to Dan & Karen, who were very helpful when we needed to reschedule our trip... stay with them when you visit Annapolis. You'll enjoy it. I will be back!
I stayed at Dan and Kiersten's for a long weekend while attending Parent's Weekend at the Naval Academy. It was an outstanding place to stay and an easy walk to the Naval Academy where parking is limited and traffic is a mess during events like Parent's Weekend. Kiersten graciously met me at the door and showed me the space. Even though the room is in the basement it is bright and inviting. Despite using the common front door entrance I felt free to come and go as Parent Weekend events dictated. The Broughton's are a great family. Dan and the boys were friendly and welcoming. While I didn't spend a lot of time in the room because of all the events and visits with friends, I was really comfortable and did not lack for anything in the way of amenities. The bed was very comfy and the temperature was just right. I would stay at D&K's again if I want to be walking distance from the Academy on my next visit and I highly recommend it to others that want to be close to downtown/historic Annapolis. Best location for the price that I could find.
D & K were very understanding and accommodating... thanks for everything, and we hope to see you soon.
The location couldn't have been more ideal and the hosts were wonderfully accommodating.
Lovely couple who were really helpful in explaining places to go in Annapolis. The location is great and the room is big and has everything you need. Only negative point is that it is under ground so not much light from outside.
Great room, really nice people, and an amazing/walkable town. We were in Annapolis for a friend's wedding, and could't shell out the nearly $400/night for a downtown hotel. 4 of us stayed here comfortably and were made to feel perfectly at home! K even shared a warm chocolate chip cookie with us. 3
This was our first Airbnb experience and we definitely picked the right family to start. D&K were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The space was perfect for our family of four (two adults and two elementary school-aged kids). Parking was a short and easy walk; the neighborhood was starting to bust out spring -- just beautiful; downtown Annapolis was a quick 10 minute walk.
